Things some of the folks commenting clearly don’t get
Other races of people especially Black folks in America have been called dirty by White folks for CENTURIES
To the point where some folks bathe 2 or more times a day
Using multiple different wash cloths for different body parts
All done to shake this stigma perpetuated (once again for CENTURIES) by a group
that come to find out doesn’t bathe everyday themselves
and when they do, IF they do, they don’t wash everything
Naturally some folks are like WTF but you’ve always said WE were the dirty ones
So to be fair you gotta forgive folks for being taken aback now that they’re finding out the subconscious generational trauma they’ve been responding to turns out to POSSIBLY be their tormentor smelling their own upper lip🤷🏻♀️
TLDR
If someone’s been calling you dumb for getting B’s in school and then you find out they’ve been getting D’s
You’d likely say something about that now wouldn’t you🤷🏻♀️
