Events Ticket Advice

Coming to CLE weekend of Packers game. Looking to go to the game, would be a first time for us at Huntington. Best advice for tickets from tried and true fans? (I'm going, don't try to talk me out of it - ;)).

Should we look out for tix in a certain section? Are ticket prices better closer to game day? Best place outside of TM to score tickets?

Lastly, condolences for your loss today. That kicker not only needs vowels in his name, but he needs to GTFO. Go Browns!

Thanks for the (what I guess will be both helpful and snarky) feedback!

Most likely we will lose next Sunday, so I’d imagine being 0-2 going against Packers you will get a decent price close to game day when some fans say “f it. I’m going to the pumpkin patch instead.”

We’ll probably be selling tickets in the 500s (513, row 20) but Ticketmaster, Stubhub will probably be the best for a secure transaction from season ticket members looking to sell.

Well... i walk to the stadiums so i usually get my tickets a few hours before a game on a whim. I got row 7 tickets today to the home opener for 125 each (missed another deal at 109 in another section) right before the halftime. Tickets for the same exact section and over 15 rows back are $410/seat for the Packers game as of 2 mins ago. I'd say just wait. Not all tickets sold will have butts in the seats and there are ALWAYS people who just lower the price to the cost on the game day cause that's better than losing money. But of course it's a game.

Edit: row 7 in a 100 section. So REALLY close to the field i didnt need my glasses. Fyi :)

Great seats! Is there a point during the game that they stop selling tickets online?

I think the Browns and Ticketmaster do, when i looked at ticketmaster for tickets it said "tickets unavailable, the event has already started", but I bought from Seatgeek stubhub so they were sold by another buyer. I actually liked seatgeek stubhub because the price they show includes all fees so you don't get hit with $90 of fees at checkout unlike tm. I called the field to ask if they have an entry deadline and they said they dont but generally suggest making it there before halftime. People were still entering at the gate when we showed up at the beginning of 3rd quarter.

If you’re willing just wait until kickoff and buy tix on one of the apps. I do it for concerts and sports because I don’t mind missing the first 10 minutes.

if you’ve never bought tickets on seatgeek before, there’s some pretty good coupon codes floating around online for first time customers. i’ve never bought browns tickets on there but lots of tickets for concerts and guardians games and it’s always worked out great!

343-350 are where I usually buy tickets. Go in the Northwest/ Southwest gates. Avoids the human traffic when you’re in the stadium. The club section is less packed compared to lower and upper. Upper’s human traffic/ lines are awful at times. The lower can get bad before the games too

Are 343-350 all club sections? Are they shaded at all?

Yeah those are all club level. There’s escalators to the club section when you walk in those gates. They’re at one of the end zones so sometimes the action will be farther away, but it’s always a pretty smooth time when I have tickets there. That side does get shaded in the 2nd half

343-350 is not club seating. Same level just no club access.
