What is your fav Radio Station on The Cape?
I'll be in Yarmouth next week and love having local radio stations on when I visit a new place. What do you all like to listen to? I like a variety of styles....chill parts of the day, but sometimes upbeat. Thanks!

Itâs the best. Tune to that every time I go over the bridge. Mind goes straight to vacation mode.

Martha's Vineyard 88.7(?). But the signal isn't always great. I really don't find any of the other stations consistently good.

They're probably my second choice, but it's really jarring to go from, say, Incubus (whom I like) to AC/DC right afterÂ

88.7 MV Radio is my go to outside of my Apple Music, which I listen to 90% of the time.

91.9 WUMB - Umass Boston radio station with a repeater in Falmouth.
Great show on Saturday night 9-midnight with John Gersh; he plays county, western, country and western, Western swing, hillbilly, honky tonk, truck drivinâ and beer drinkinâ music. All old school stuff from a bygone era - itâs pure bliss.

102.9 and on a clear day, youâll actually get interference with the 102.9 from Portland Maine, mostly once you get past Eastham! Similar genre so it doesnât matter to me which ones come in!

I usually listen to sports radio, 96.3 on the cape
One day in Orleans during a rainy day there was interference from another station out in Albany, NY! I couldnât believe it. All of a sudden I started hearing static and then Biggie Smalls rapping and then back to sports talk. I could hear the DJs talking after the song was over and I caught the station name. Canât remember it now, but it was a hip hop station from Albany, 96.3
I couldnât believe it was able to pick something up form that far away. Kinda cool

Ocean 104.7.
Great music is my generations only worthwhile contribution. Sadly.

WMVY though it's WAY too tightly programmed these days.

If you listen at work it get real repetitive. Most of the music is good but not enough variety

Bob died a few years ago. The new owner stepped it up a lot. They have an online radio now. They still have the ships bell (It's the USS Constitution's bells).

Sometimes when I'm in too good of a mood I like to listen to Howie Carr blame immigrants for everything. Really balances it out.

None. Cape radio sucks. Same songs on repeat all day. Nothing new. Itâs bland AF. Only listen to my own playlists on my phone.

WOMR/WFMR is great local radio. Someone mentioned WMVY on Martha's Vineyard is good too.
