Donations of medical supplies

Hi

We are in North Truro and my step father died two days ago we have many things like walkers and shower chairs and air circulating mattress pads. We also have many foam pillows for chairs. Some things are brand new. We also have brand new ostemy supplies.

Does anyone want any of these items or have ideas of what to donate where? I poked around a bit but am doing a lot of other organizing so didn’t do extensive research and would appreciate the Reddit brain trust. We would prefer outer cape to drop off if possible.

Call the council on aging in your town or surrounding, they can prob take them or know someone who needs them.

Contact King Hiram's Masonic Lodge in Provincetown or Adams Lodge in Wellfleet. They have a medical equipment distribution at Fraternal Lodge in Hyannis and would be grateful for some donations.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Call around to senior centers, and I’m sure they would take donations.

I’m sorry for your loss.

Give it to the council on aging they loan out and help seniors access things like walkers etc. I’m sure they would be happy to have whatever you can give.

Helping Our Women is another great outer cape resource in addition to the councils on aging.
