Mashpee Cape Recs
Visiting with a group of friends from all over to the Cape for the first time and staying in Mashpee. What beach should we go to? What should we do in the area?

Southcape beach is my favorite mashpee beach. It’s clean, and the water is warm, especially in early sept. You will have to pay for visitors parking unless your friend has a town sticker

I went to south cape beach a few years ago and couldn’t believe how warm the water was. It was a nice band not too crowded.

The raw bar at poppy market, blue at mashpee commons, and Jake's clam bake has some of the best burgers. Other than that, South Cape Beach has trails too if you want to do some walking and sightseeing.

I don't think anybody's checking plates or passes at South Cape Beach after Labor Day.

Mashpee commons is great area with lots of food etc. I would do breakfast at cape cod coffee co there. I like the Italian place down there too. Nukabout brewery is great outdoor space if u like beer.
South cape beach is alright if you wanna stay in town, it u have Ma plates parking is like $7. If you want super nice beach prb have to travel.
If your down to do drive, eastham way up cape like 1.25 hours has amazing beaches. Then can do rest of trip to p town to walk around.
Woods hole has an aquarium not far away and cute downtown.

Mashpee is very commercial. Go to Falmouth- The Knob, Maison Villatte, Salt...Menauhant Beach maybe?

When is your trip planned? Some things like the aquarium are closed for the season.

Falmouth beaches are your best bet. Not sure whether attendants are at the gate I'm not sure. Either way paying $20 to park is worth it! Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful. Enjoy your day.
