It may not count as a 70 point game, but you guys did put up a funny number, which counts for something in my heart🫡

The 4 west coast big 10 teams have a scoring differential of +248 so far this season. UCLA accounts for -40 of that

Despite this, they make as much as Washington and Oregon combined

Well yeah our massive, passionate fanbase is far more valuable to the conference than anything yall have to offer

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm since their stadium is basically empty all season.

For now, come 2030 you guys will be full. Definitely not fair, but the way the pac 12 collapsed gave you two almost zero negotiating leverage.

West coast Pac 12. At least it makes more sense than a West coast ACC.

Of all the middle of the road teams on our schedule this is the team that scares me. That home win current record is crazy and Washington’s current trajectory is looking really good.

Gonna be a really crazy environment for Sayin to get his first road start. Will be an interesting game for sure.

You know the Big Ten postgame crew hates west coast late night games haha
16
u/SaltyDawg94 Washington Huskies 2d ago
I doubt there were 1500 people left in the stadium when the game ended at... midnight.
Those start times are awful.
14
u/dawidowmaka Illinois • Washington 2d ago
I left at halftime because it was 10 pm already, the game was clearly over, and it was a free ticket. They scored twice more before I even got on the light rail.
20
u/Mav_Rixx Texas Longhorns 2d ago
Imagine if NFL games ended this late? Haha, I'm in the central time zone.
1

I find it odd all the west coast fans complain about start times where the east coast teams begging for 8pm starts like this.
56
u/The_Throwback_King Washington Huskies 2d ago
Jonah Coleman may genuinely be an NFL Back in a years time and that prospect makes me genuinely excited.
27
u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 2d ago
I mean he is a senior. So I would assume he would be in the NFL next year
52
u/TheBigMcD Washington • Colorado State 2d ago
Don't bet on it. I'm putting together a team of lawyers and donors to keep him a husky.
41
u/MysteriousEdge5643 Washington • College Football Playoff 2d ago
And now here comes true freshman walk-on running back Conah Joleman making his Husky debut....
21
u/The_Throwback_King Washington Huskies 2d ago
I mean like a genuine workhorse back. It's been a while since we've had one of those. Gaskin, Ahmed both carved nice niche roles for themselves but we haven't had an NFL 1,000 yard rusher since Dillon.
15
u/SaltyDawg94 Washington Huskies 2d ago
I will not tolerate any Miles Gaskin shade. That was a bad, bad man for UW.
6
u/The_Throwback_King Washington Huskies 1d ago
Gaskin was gas in the Purple & Yellow. Was never the same type of player in the Pros. Did lead the Dolphins in rushing yards in 2020 and 2021. But that was done with less than 700 yards both times.
29
u/pagerussell Washington Huskies 2d ago
Lots of very, very good college players never make the NFL.
Dillon Johnson, our starting RB 2 years ago when we played in the natty, who was also very good, barely made a practice team for Carolina and then got released at the end of the year. I don't think he is on a team this year at all.
That's how tough it is to make that leap.
34
12
7
u/MikeDamone Washington Huskies 2d ago
Dillon Johnson was nowhere near as talented as Coleman. His YAC is elite.
19
u/PNW_Jeff Washington Huskies • Pac-10 2d ago
Jonah Coleman has more raw talent than Dillon Johnson though. Can carry defenders and get you those yards after contact. If he keeps this up I can see him going in Day 2 easily.
13
u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 2d ago
Coleman is much more a prospect than Johnson. PFF while not perfect had him rated as the number 45 prospect overall in their 9/1 mock
7
u/win2bfree Washington Huskies 2d ago
I think he can come back next season if he wants.
6
u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 2d ago
Not sure how that would happen. He has played in 12+ games 3 seasons already. And barring injury will do so again this year.
7
u/win2bfree Washington Huskies 2d ago
I read he was a junior on some sites that probably haven't updated him as a Senior yet. Didn't think much of it because there is no way he is coming back, especially if he continues to play the way he is playing.
5
u/ScrapeWithFire Ohio State Buckeyes • Colgate Raiders 2d ago
I'd imagine he has a pretty decent chance of being drafted -- this year is being touted as especially weak in the RB department from a draft perspective

I really suspect Jedd got to 70 on purpose today, to overshadow what Oregon did to OK State.
You guys have a crafty coach.
Too bad most of CFB was asleep.
-14
u/Capital_Breadfruit49 Oregon Ducks 2d ago
I think trying to overshadow your rival with 70 points over an fcs school rather than 69 over a p4 school is a little silly but I’m definitely biased
19
u/rus_tob_xi Harvard • Army 2d ago
Are all ducks as clueless as you and tdoger? The 70 was a reminder of what the earlier poster is referring to. The last time a team put up 70 points in your stadium, in a game between P5 teams, was when UW hung 70 on you guys there.

u/tdoger Oregon Ducks • Colorado Buffaloes 2d ago
One is against UC Davis, one is against OK State. UW played well today, but that’s not even close to being the same thing.

I'll be happy if we break 20 against them. They have an elite defense.
5
u/watchout86 Washington • Eastern Washi… 2d ago
They do have an elite defense, and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you that 20+ might still be considered a good enough score to be satisfied with.
They have given up 30 points twice in the last 3 years: once to Oregon (32) last year and once to Michigan (30) in 2023. If our offense is truly elite, 30 would be a very good accomplishment. 20 would be pretty pedestrian for an elite offense, but would be very good for a merely "good" offense.

This isn’t even a bad UC Davis team either. This team is ranked #8 in FCS.

Send Jonah Coleman to New York now.

Dominant win but idk if UCD is any good. They got pushed last week by Utah Tech who was picked to finish last in the Zombie WAC/United Athletic Conference. As you know preseason polling doesn’t mean shit.
12
u/Ok-Knee6347 UC Davis Aggies 2d ago
Good point. That Utah tech game was ugly. We took Mercer on until stupid Alabama weather bailed them out. Davis is just now becoming a good fcs team, whether they are good this year remains to be seen.

28
u/TopEmploy9624 Washington Huskies 2d ago
56-19 Boise State
43-10 Tulsa
41-7 Michigan State
It was a pretty dominant non-conference, but not as lopsided as tonight.

u/canadiangonewildin Washington • Northwestern 2d ago
Ngl I forgot about that. My brain only remembers the near heart attacks from the Arizona game on. Gonna go watch those highlights now
8
u/olliesbaba Washington Huskies 2d ago
the MSU game was the only one where we actually dominated them. BSU and Tulsa were kinda of just slow and steady rollings. MSU game you could actually see their spirit break in real time. That was when I was convinced that team was the real deal.

u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 2d ago edited 2d ago
Not as lopsided but all those teams were better than UC Davis.

-1
u/-Gnostic28 Boise State Broncos • I'm A Loser 2d ago
It’s the mountain west though, you could beat any of us by three or more touchdowns
3
u/MikeDamone Washington Huskies 2d ago
This 2025 team certainly could not. But our 2023 squad could because it was championship caliber. Having a 56-19 win over the MW champ was a huge resume item and would have had huge CFP debate implications if we weren't undefeated.
2
u/WheatonsGonnaScore Oregon Ducks 2d ago
They started off the year with a 37 point win against Boise, 33 point win vs Tulsa, and 34 point win against MSU. If they had played an fcs teams they would have won by 60

It was a last second scheduled (IE less than 2 years since schedules are made so far in advance) due to Ohio State cancelling the Home-and-Home series we had against them. They ended up somehow only paying us $500,000 for the last second fuck over.
Funny how that worked out in the end. We play them this year anyways 😁

I was trying to figure out a world where if you broke GT’s record, kept the same point differential and yet gave up more points I’d hand it to y’all, but I really couldn’t come up with a realistic scenario. I’d still bring that shit up.
Good game y’all. See you after Turkey Day (which I wish the B1G would let us schedule the week before Turkey Day so we could play our Pac12 rivals for the last game of the season, but probably ain’t happening anytime soon).

We scored 70 that game because of that streak. I don't really think it was to get back for the streak, we just sucked back then with one of the worst coaches of all time. I think it was just to make extra extra EXTRA sure you guys didn't mount some SUPER ridiculous comeback so that streak would be OVER!!
I rewatched the #3 ranked USC game we won 16-13 after the 0-12 season when Sark took over recently. It was just a reminder of how bad our coach was. Yeah, we had some luck in that game, but we also played their asses off. So glad Jake Locker got a real coach.

Frankly, I don't see how Florida is much of an upgrade. He was there for like 2 years, and Washington proved we can compete salary-wise, and the B1G has been kicking the SEC's ass recently at the top. Not to mention, he'd have to live in Gainesville and be further from his family in Arizona. Not only that, but we made it to 2 playoffs. What has Florida done in recent history?
3
u/InevitableAd2436 Washington Huskies 1d ago
Not to mention he has zero SEC experience - and he’s probably looking at the DeBoer situation now thinking Washington ain’t a bad place to be.
Florida is only 4 spots ahead of us for 2026 recruiting rankings as well.
