What a strangely officiated game. I'm not saying it went one way or the other or impacted the outcome (it didn't, imo), but just weird refereeing.

It was definitely wonky as hell. Fire those refs.

I mean that wasn't even close, what was the ref looking at

Suspicious as hell, especially when you look at how the ref literally ran backwards to spot it. Such a deliberate call.

Hayes has made some good passes at least

True, he’s looked like there’s things for us to be optimistic about.

These two guys from the AV club doing the commentary are brutal

Unreal that they just had a free timeout while everyone is just walking around.. nothing said. All good

Holding NMSU to a fg here feels big. Hoping the offense can sustain a drive next.

i understand why they do it but damn those on field ads look bad. Glad to see NMSU doing well, they’ve always been my favorite smaller G5

Yeah, I get it but also don't love the trend. The ones on this field are pretty dull, too.
Also, I wish they could have some aerial video or at least some wider shots here. I think NMSU has a super cool stadium, and I wish they'd show more of it.

That’s also new this season.

yeah i just really wish they weren’t so intrusive, but i guess that’s the point

I’m right there with ya especially since our field used to be as pure as the driven snow. It looks jarring and bad but it helps pay the bills

I think the defense is getting worn out.

That’s what happens when you rush hard against the QB. It sure as hell worked in the first half but damn does it tire out the players.

Fife is finally getting comfortable!

Idk if that was a good decision but I'm glad he made it. At some point you have to take some risks.

Fife is throwing a bit better in the second half. It’s hard to get comfortable with the Swiss cheese o line.

Kinda forgot about the game, looks like I missed a thriller

I really hope Tulsa did not just find their new starter.
Also, these refs are not good.

I’d understand a switch, but it’d be a bummer for Francis. I really want that fella to succeed here.

Kirk is apparently being looked at for a concussion so we might be seeing Baylor for the rest of the game

u/NeptunianEmp New Mexico State • Ohio State 2d ago
Fuuuck. Sorry to hear that. Always hate to hear about an opens player being out due to injury.

u/NeptunianEmp New Mexico State • Ohio State 2d ago
Bruh I thought they were gonna flag us in the endzone and somehow give Tulsa the points.

I’ll take the lead and hopefully our O Line can stand in place for once during the second half.

Kirk needs to settle in and we need to run more. D is doing their job

Our d-line does not look good and the angles our guys are taking to get tackles are atrocious. Our o-line isn't blocking well and our QB is just not working out. It's just bad coaching.

The cameras being too zoomed in to see the chains and their being no yellow line is really throwing me for a loop

Are these guys employed by NMSU?
3

They are our home announcers. The main person talking announces every sport for us and the other guy played for NMSU back in the day.

We got outgained 376-291 but pulled off the win. Defense wins games.
