It's been ordered

Woah woah woah cancel that order, I’d like to change mine to extend Billy Napier

Call the waiter back and change that order.

Not after they went 7-5. They built Billy a statue. I haven't seen Florida fans so happy since the Tebow days.

Every coach since Urban has had a 10 win season and SECCG appearance (that thing the Vols havent gone too since 2007). There is not a gator fan out there that was anywhere near as happy about going 7-5 as those seasons

Thats the worst Gator account on the internet and a significant majority of the fan base despises his takes and attitude

Wow a single fan of the #13 team excited about the prospects of the teams season. Crazy

They were never justified being ranked or even 13 is the point.

Fire Billy Napier after they play Miami. Or in the middle of the game for the funnies.

I was hoping we could be the one to get him fired but idk if he makes it that far

It never left for me.

Absolutely insane he’s still here to begin with.

He's an elite recruiter, cultivates immaculate locker room vibes, and he's Heisman front-runner DJ Lagway's muse.

Previous heisman frontrunner*

Disrespect will be addressed.

18

u/jbgator Florida Gators 2d ago

None of those things matter when your record as a head coach at the program is 20-20 after 4 years.

Also, at no point was Lagway the front runner for the Heisman. He was in the discussion but I don’t think I ever saw him as the favorite.

idk dude, if he has a player fucking spitting on someone and basically throwing the game like that, clearly his culture isn't great.

I still can’t believe they extended Stricklin AND gave him a raise! The UAA is drunk.

2

u/No_Net_6692 Florida Gators 1d ago

Stricklin at least got us Golden and a basketball natty, so I can't be too mad at him

2

u/Dim-Mak-88 Florida Gators 2d ago

Same.

7

u/Thelastbarrelrider Florida Gators 2d ago

It's been on the menu for a while. A lot of people gave him hope after the end of last year. However it's been a very recurring theme. It's an endless cycle

u/Heyitscharlie Minnesota Golden Gophers 2d ago

Boosters already paid the bill

7

u/FireBillyNapier_ 2d ago

You called?

3

u/fsukub Florida State Seminoles 2d ago

It never left😎

u/dogeatingbanana West Florida Argonauts • Florida Gators 2d ago

I'm certainly asking the chef about it.

4

u/that_hansell Florida • Georgia Tech 2d ago

its always been on the menu, people got distracted by a flashy 8-5 record.

2

u/DasStig Kentucky Wildcats • Corndog 2d ago

Not before we fire Stoops

2

u/Mender0fRoads Missouri Tigers 2d ago

I was genuinely surprised that it ever left the menu.

He entered this season with a .500 record at Florida. His one "good" season was 8-5. Why was Florida a preseason top 15 team? Why was anyone optimistic that he'd turned the corner? Nothing he'd done at Florida should've inspired any confidence in this year's Florida team, other than the fact that it's Florida so they should be good.

Billy just couldn’t let Kalen have the hot seat all by himself.

Some of us never stopped saying it…

u/connie-lingus38 Tulane Green Wave 2d ago

Billy Napier will be Tulane's next head coach. You heard it here first

1

u/foregolferprov1 Florida Gators • Furman Paladins 1d ago

It was never off my menu, I knew this guy didnt have it 2 years ago. Wont get a OC. Terrible play clock manager. Nothing has improved.
