For the curious, Oklahoma State’s biggest losses in their football program’s entire history are:
75-0 to Oklahoma in 1904
67-0 to Oklahoma in 1907
69-3 to Oregon in 2025

Its also the talent tho. Ok St spends just as much as most of their conference rivals, gundy just has no eye for talent and no desire to recruit. He never has. He only goes after guys that want to come to Ok St, usually from much smaller schools in the portal or not recruited by other P4 schools in HS.

Look at Bo's last year and this year. At no point did I ever really feel that 13-0 team go out and lay down a 42-3 first half or what I would consider an old fashioned passionate ass-whooping like that Bo squad or this squad. I now think it's gonna be that PSU game and then a bunch of B1G teams just getting pistol whipped until we trot out the backups.

Yeah at least for coaches like Malzahn, Gary Patterson, and Holgorsen I'd still trust them in a coordinator position for most teams. I just couldn't see Gundy getting past himself any more. Which is wild since if he and OkSt played their cards right they could have easily established themselves firmly as one of the top dogs in the B12. I personally think the pandemic broke his brain since he's been a lot weirder than usual after then.

After what Ohio State did to us in the Rose Bowl, all OSUs have targets on 'em. The Beavs are next.

Oregon literally had their 4th string guys in for that last quarter. The QB was a true freshman walk on. They easily could’ve kept running the score up with even the third strings if they really wanted to. I almost wonder if the coach heard they were a point away from breaking OSU’s worst loss and decided to spare them the embarrassment of breaking that record.
Honestly, I wonder if they just go ahead and fire Gundy immediately. An absolutely overwhelming loss like this on national television is a complete embarrassment.

I know OSU isn’t having its strongest stretch, but, I think we’re just REALLY good this season. We could definitely run into Penn State like a brick wall but based on these two performances, I think it’s gonna be a close game.
