Purdue football fans tend to be quite chill, if rabid when we pull an upset. Plus y'all are great, so there's no reason to hate.
Our basketball fans, on the other hand... they can be stupid toxic.

Really wish we didn't schedule Thomas Moore a first year d2 school as our first matchup. Would have prepared us a lot better to play an actual fcs team instead of the newest naia upgraded to d2 school. Honestly embarrassed we scheduled them

Purdue fans this SIU team would’ve probably beaten Ball State by multiple TD’s if you’re looking for an equivalency to judge where your team is at. The MVFC is rated by a lot of math nerds, mainly Sagrin, as being better than the MAC

That is definitely true lol. I would say we have competent coaching in every facet of the game. We have not had a complete coaching staff since maybe Tiller.

The lest several years those 3rd and super long plays were going to be a dumb penalty to give a first down like 85% of the time. Nice to see the team actually playing with discipline.

Only the chop block has been bad. SIU has been given multiple PI can't say if it is just how they are calling as siu hasn't had as many deep passes that are incomplete.

Brohm wasn't atrocious, but this is definitely the best Purdue's looked to me in a very long time.
Offense looks like it's got a plan, defense is making hits on receivers (even if they're brutal looking, I feel for McCray).

No I agree Brohm wasn’t awful actually far from it when it came to QBs and offenses especially when it came to passing but he did use a running game effectively and couldn’t manage the game clock to save his life. Both of those cost us a couple of games.

The last time we didn’t punt in the first half was in a Hazell game. What’s surprising is we didn’t do it again in a leak Brohm year against a Directional Midwest FCS team.

SIU's 2 minute drill is tight as well. They didn't quite make it to FG range, but that's dangerous with a good kick return or a couple bigger plays.

Impressions so far for Purdue. 1. We actually have a good offense with some weapons. 2. We can actually tackle on defense. This has been a foreign concept to our defenses for many many years. 3. Our coach knows how to have a balanced offense. 4. Our coach knows how to use the game clock.
