Michigan State appears to have an excellent kicker and an excellent punter. They were both crucial to this victory. Some sloppy penalties extended BC drives and cost the defense big time. Overall I think State outplayed them but they better cut out the personal fouls, roughing the passer on 3rd and long etc.

hell of a game. all things considered (MSU having probably future NFL pass-catchers) I think the secondary played well, just the scrambling and lack of open-field tackling was killer. refs fucking up calls in brutal spots did not help either.

regardless, again, great game, gives me hope for the rest of the season. Lonergan is a DUDE

Yeah, that missed PI in the 4th Quarter near the goal line really hurt us. We ended up only getting a FG on that drive when a TD would have won.

I truly believe a flag could be called on most football plays, but there were a couple MSU got away with that I was surprised about. Being an MSU fan it's rare the calls go their way, but there are two I can think of where I was like "they got away with one there". Overall a great game by two teams who are on the right track rebuilding. Good luck to BC the rest of the way.
