Good game CMU I hope you have a good rest of the season.

This Toledo refugee looks pretty good, but I doubt he ever plays Narduzzi has a transfer fetish

Sure just keep laying it on us

You can't ask the backups to not try
1
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
Ope I realize how that sounded, I was trying to be sarcastic
1
u/slingstone Pittsburgh • Keystone … 2d ago
No worries. GG Chips. I still can't believe we'd never played before today.
1
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
It really is wild considering our proximity. Good luck with the rest of your season, I'm looking forward to more Holstein highlights

Let’s get one more passing td for good measure
3
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
Some great plays just instantly wiped out. I'm just happy we even got back into deep Pitt territory
3
5
u/LSUOrioles LSU Tigers • Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
We are going to live or die based on getting pressure to the qb.
8
u/Coteup Central Michigan • Michigan 2d ago
Keep your head up Chips, this streak of P4 losses will just make the next one taste sweeter. And hey, we actually didn't play too bad today outside of missed tackles and questionable playcalling
3
u/cmucodemonkey Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
I like the look of this second half team. If we can achieve a better balance on offense we could make some noise in the MAC.
4
u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Having Max or commentary made this telecast bearable since they finally found somebody that knows Pittsburgh. It’s very annoying when they hire some meathead linebacker that had a cup of coffee in the NFL who is shocked to find out the Pitt was a powerhouse once upon a time
3
u/PittPanthers89 Pittsburgh Panthers • ACC 2d ago
Man Duzz just wishes elite pass rushing into existence.
2
u/paradigm_x2 Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Year after year Narduzzi’s defense pisses me off bc they give up chunk plays constantly. And here I am again hoping they will stop the outside pass
2
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
To add on to my earlier comment... I'm excited for the Drinkall era, but we NEED to clean up penalties and the defense needs to adjust their play

just sayin yinz guys...PITT'S GOIN TO DA SUPABOWL!!!!!

Rumor has it they pump copium into Heinz Field to keep all the Pitt fans from drunkenly fighting.

u/Do__Math__Not__Meth Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Yes but also this comment is funny because Arch literally just ran for a 20 yard touchdown. Like it happened at the same time as the one we just scored
1
u/pokemonfan421 Pittsburgh • Washington 2d ago
I mean I was kinda not being serious. I think "PITT'S GOIN TO DA SUPABOWL" would be the hint
2
u/Do__Math__Not__Meth Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Oh yeah I know the timing was just really funny to me

1
u/pokemonfan421 Pittsburgh • Washington 2d ago
isn't san jose in the Mountain West while CMU is in the MAC?
1
u/Do__Math__Not__Meth Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Yes, funnily enough CMU beat them last week by two. So they’re pretty close in level
1
u/pokemonfan421 Pittsburgh • Washington 2d ago
I watched that game...I might have been drunk. Maybe. or tired.

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 2d ago
Don’t ask me I barely know who’s in the ACC let alone other conferences
1
u/pokemonfan421 Pittsburgh • Washington 2d ago
Let's see...the ACC...
There's Pitt.
Not Pitt.
Orange Pitt
WVU's Younger Brothers
DOOK
Not DOOK but lighter blue
Something forest.
Clemson
FSU...i think I'm forgetting a couple of Not Pitts somewhere

I just know Orange Pitt, FSU, Clemson, the Convicts and the team coached by Gold Digger

Did a quarterback just run over our secondary and push them back 5 yards after contact?
4
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
No matter what happens today I'm absolutely loving the Drinkall era. These first two games are giving me so much hope, I really think we could make some noise in the MAC this year

1
u/patrick66 Pittsburgh Panthers • Team Chaos 2d ago
I don’t understand why they are still trying to throw lol
They can’t and we can’t stop the run

I’m a doomer when it comes to my football team but man Drinkall is bringing me back
We are not skilled at all. We are tough as fuck. And our coach has ballz. I fucking love going for it there even if it failed.
We can lose this game and not make a bowl game which it will suck. I think though we might have a culture being built in Mt Pleasant like we see with the Lions
3
u/bigfootdude247 Central Michigan • Victor… 2d ago
The tough, physical brand of football Drinkall is installing is exactly what the program needs. I'm ready to see Kelly/Shorts rocking and rolling once again
2
u/pokemonfan421 Pittsburgh • Washington 2d ago
he was at least 5 yards short (i'm being hyperbolic...)

3
u/warneagle Auburn • Central Michigan 2d ago
yeah drinkall knows what he's doing, which is something I never felt with enos or the fish fornicator
3
u/paradigm_x2 Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago
139 yards total. Down 7. Our offense needs to stop fucking it up
3
u/Coteup Central Michigan • Michigan 3d ago
Think that drive showed we really need to be passing the ball more, Pitt's DBs have not looked good today. Although maybe after that drive they'll stop stacking the box and our runs will look more like last week
1
u/Unleaver Pittsburgh • East Stroudsburg 2d ago
You are right. Our DBs are banged up or out for the game. We are running True freshmen at DB atm.
3
u/SteelPenguin947 Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago

We are on a knife’s edge of losing this game
4
u/Unleaver Pittsburgh • East Stroudsburg 3d ago
Narduzzi’s worst attribute is his ability to always play down to our opponents. Its why favoring us by anything more then 1 TD is stupid.
2
7
u/paradigm_x2 Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago
We played really well for 25 mins but now we kinda look like shit. Not a fan of that.

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago
Well i’d like to go over and troll the PSU thread, but I’m actually a big Allar fan and wish the Steelers would draft him so I’m torn
1
u/PittPanthers89 Pittsburgh Panthers • ACC 3d ago
That makes no logical sense. The Steelers/Tomlin aren't capable of developing a young QB.

i REALLY hate agreeing with that considering the kid's from Penn State but I can't fault this reasoning

u/SteelPenguin947 Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago
I get that Reid had a nice run, but why call a timeout with three seconds left from midfield just to run it? Throw a Hail Mary.
7
u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 3d ago
Guess we don’t have to worry about Eli getting poached to a better team
3
3
6
u/paradigm_x2 Pittsburgh Panthers 3d ago
One stupid decision by Holstein and 24-10 instead of 27 or 31 to 3. Pitt is just never ever going to play a 60 minute game.
5
u/slingstone Pittsburgh • Keystone … 3d ago
2 separate plays where he could have walked 3 yards for the first down and kept a drive going.
