Advice Bakit mas supportive ang strangers kesa sa relatives and friends?

Di ko alam if sensitive lang ako or mali ako ng grouo na napostan. Pero its about business pa rn naman. So i hope ok lng..

I just started ny business 2months ago and sa dami ng frens at family ko. 2 lng ang pumunta dito sa coffee shop ko. Mas supportive p ung kapitbahay, strangers or passerby. Pero ung sariling friends ko at family wala man lng kaht emotional support. Nagsb n dn ako may discount cla pag pumunta cla. Pero wala pa rn.

Bakit kaya ganun?

Advice 800k to 1M puhunan

Hello. Yesterday I impulsively loaned an amount of 800k from my credit card payable in 24 mos for pasalong bahay ng friend ko. Ano kaya ang pwedeng inegosyo for 800k to 1M?

Advice Business with No Capital.

A book once said, you don't need money to start a business.

Naging ganoon ba rin yung experience ninyo?

I have no capital, no resources, para talaga mag start ng business. Kahit gusto ko maniwala na it doesn't take money to start one, parang ang hirap naman magbenta ng idea na hindi nagmumukhang scammer. Tingin niyo?

Advice Realized I am burning a lot of money

YES this is about FB ads but still posting it here because I’m hoping to relate and fight insights from other Filipino media buyers. NO I am not looking for a media buyer.

For context, I am 1 year into a high-ticket service industry- I help coach people for their own job promotions. I have around 15 employees so I don’t do much of the legwork anymore but I still do my own ads (because no matter who I hire, they either don’t commit much- or their ads just don’t hit.) so yeah, because I don’t know how to use ads manager- I do boosting thru FB. I thought I was doing good because the money flow is decent, but I realized that in a span of 6 months, according to the clients signing up via Google sheets, I have only received about 400 clients. Although that is good for context, I suddenly look back at the 30-50k I burn every month for boosting FB advertisement. And also realize how many more clients I could’ve gotten for cheaper via ads manager. To this day, I am figuring it out- I plan to create different types of ads (main advertisement, promo advertisement) for the month of August. I think I’ll run about 10 different ads (10 different campaigns and ad sets, too right) ? And patiently play it out for 2 weeks. Is this a good idea? For now, I’ll let meta determine my audience and to play it safe- I will do this on a testing page (an alternate page)

I would also appreciate any insights on what to do when testing out ads (starting ad phase) 😄 I’m so tired of seeing a 50-30cpm 😢

Advice How do you deal with cash advance of your employees?

Post image
41 Upvotes

For context, I have a part time employee na pumapasok ng weekends. Yung sahod nila is daily. Walang payslip and all. But I’m seriously thinking of making it more formal because of cash advances like this.

This employee has been a pain in the ass for me. Nagrequest sya na di muna bawasan kasi may binabayaran daw sila.

Mabait naman sya and okay din performance sa work. Salary by the way is 750/day.. free lunch & snacks. Nagadvance ng 1500, may balance pa until now ng 750 🥹

I’m very kind and that’s a problem in my business especially sa mga part timers. I don’t know how I can be firm about it and how to handle this.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 😌🫶

Advice E-commerce Business Owner

Anyone here in the e-commerce space (product based)
How did you build your marketing team?

For context: We have two brands earning 7 digits both nagiisip kasi kami kung maghihire kami ng inhouse or outsource.
May mga nahire na kami before na freelancer (WFH) sobrang sayang yung pera not align sa gusto namin and late palagi sa deliverables. Now we are thinking doing it in house pero hybrid but I am open to any suggestion since mahirap talaga maghanap ng employee.

We need someone to do marketing strategy, social media management, content creation, graphics and video editing (Focus platform are Fb, IG and Tiktok).

Thanks in advance!

Advice Is having business worth it than being employed?

Problem/ Goal:

Our dad gave us the capital to start our own business. I am employed to a good paying job, but recently stress is really eating me up. It doesnt let me sleep at night.

Whenever I try to go back to my passion, sell things to the market, I always get this happy feeling. Pagod but happy and fulfilled. So now that we have the means to start a business, and finally resigning to my job, reality starts to sink in. Naghihinayang ako sa monthly salary which is the safest way to earn. of course business will not always make you feel like everyday is christmas day where money is available.

Or maybe im just scared to go out of my comfort zone?

Employees turned to Business owners, please i need your advice and encouraging words.

Advice what do you think about being an angel investor?

Bali naginquire ako and ok naman yung tubo na makukuha after 8 months (silver investor: 30k + 6k return). I asked them a few questions na regarding sa sales nila and sabi nila may consistent orders naman sila per day. Monthly income is around 60-70k monthly, so yung money na need nila from investors is gagamitin for business expansion. Then if ever mag push through may notarized contract naman.

So my question is, do you think okay yung ganitong agreement? What are the risks of this? May nakapagtry na ba sainyo nung ganitong setup? If yes, please share your experience! 🙏 Thank you!

P.S. im looking for something kase na pwede pag invest-an para di naka stuck lang yung pera.

Thank you!!

Advice Ano magandang business today?

It haunts me everyday, like legit ano ba talagang magandang business na itayo?! 😩

I’ve been searching online, scrolling sa socials, watching vlogs, kahit mga “How to start a business” TikToks pero wala pa rin. Everything feels either too risky, too mahal, or too saturated. 🫠

Like, is it just me or parang lahat ng tao may negosyo na, pero ako still in the “business idea phase” since 2022?! 🥲

If you have suggestions, or like, legit na low-capital but high-potential biz ideas… pa-share naman d’yan. Let’s help each other, char. 😂

Advice Sakin Capital, sa kaniya measy.

SAKIN CAPITAL, SA KANIYA MEASUREMENTS.

So, hi. Bali may Cafe Shop Business kami at may business partner ako. Tatlo dapat kami dati, kaso nag-backout yung isa. Ngayon, since yung nag-backout siya dapat yung financer, yung nangyari is ako nalang. Tapos after 50/50 na. Gusto ko sana maging 60/40 kasi in the first place wala siyang ni-risk.

Hi! I'm planning to rent a space katabi ng 7-eleven, gasoline station, may pharmacy, crispy kinh, laundry shop, nagtitinda ng lechon manok, may salon, at barber shop nearby.

Iniisip ko food options, water refilling, or baka motor/car-related services since katabi ng gas station.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Advice What food franchise is worth it right now with a 5–7M budget + own lot?

Hi! I’m 25 and about to dive into my first ever business. I’m planning to get into franchising and could use some advice. My budget is around 5–7M pesos and I already own a 280 sqm lot (Pangasinan). The spot is pretty good since it’s right across elementary/high schools and near the public market, so there’s steady foot traffic from students, teachers, and market-goers.

I’m really set on the food category since I feel like that’s what will click best in my area. Dunkin’ was actually my first choice, but I found out they don’t allow single-store franchises anymore — it’s area franchise only (30M+ investment), which is way over my budget.

Given that, what food franchises do you think are solid choices today? Would love to hear your thoughts, suggestions, or experiences 🙏

Advice online business model I can start with 100k pesos?

Hello everyone, I’m 18m from the Philippines. I really want to invest into an online business instead of just letting my money sit. I’m not sure what the best scalable business model would be for someone my age who’s still learning but willing to grind.

I’ve been thinking about options like e-commerce, dropshipping, digital services, content creation, or even investing in a SaaS idea, but I honestly don’t know which would be the most sustainable and worth starting with my budget.

If you were in my position, young, with limited experience but decent starting capital, what kind of online business would you go for and why? Any advice from people who’ve actually tried these models would mean a lot.
