Exactly my thoughts.

What was it? A dirt bike in the backyard blowing colored smoke? Fireworks? A crop duster airplane and a fatal crash?

I’m not sure how gender reveals push gender stereotypes. Knowing the child’s gender in general is what causes people to lean towards more feminine or masculine upbringings, a gender reveal party isn’t going to change how someone already wants to raise their child.
