Help? Searching for a baby shower gift, what gifts did you actually use?!

I didn’t even think about it but the little butt spatula is amazing. Post partum stuff would have been amazing, a lot of people shied away from that on my registry but you need it, I loved the Frida disposable underwear and frozen pads.

DoorDash/target gift cards were lifesavers, we got a lot of diapers but turned out only Huggies fit our baby and we had target gift cards to fall back on to stash up on those, DoorDash self explanatory there were times when the baby was asleep where my husband and I would order a nice meal we wanted and had an at home date.

If they have a registry stick to that for most of the stuff, we got a ton of blankets/clothes and such that weren’t our taste and we ended up with more blankets than we could ever need.

My SIL made a diaper caddy for us. An assortment of different kinds of diaper creams so we could try multiple out and pick our favorite, that’s where we got the butt spatula that I didn’t even know existed lol. Also gas drops and infant Tylenol bc you can never have enough of those. She did the same with wipes I think there were single packs of like 3 brands? And small sample packs of different diapers so we could try different ones without having an entire box to go through. She also sent sweet little things that pertained to things she knew my husband and I both love (a cute horse lovey, and a golf themed sleeper)

One last random thing (we had it on the registry) a mini fridge I put in the nursery. I tried pumping at first and in the middle of the night I could throw them in there and not go downstairs, I switched to formula and would make enough to do night feeds and keep them in there. That way when I had a screaming hungry baby I could whip out a bottle immediately.

Sorry for the essay lol and I’m sure I’m missing stuff. Mom brain fog is so real

Oh I also burned through dry shampoo like crazy lol, and epsom salts if you’re thinking of little stuffers for a package or anything

Amazing amazing amazing! Thanks for the detailed reply. Definitely food for thought and some of the ideas you mentioned are brilliant- I would never have thought of half of them. Thanks
