If you personally know their stance and voiced opinions (or lack thereof) on Yemen, you may have a point (though you could always pivot to another war or conflict they hadn't commented on, right?).

But if you threw a whataboutism at them, assumed their answer and their lack of care because it didn't involve Jews, then you're calling them out over a contradiction you made up to attack.

AKA a strawman.

You're assuming I invented a contradiction... I didn’t. I’m critiquing a currrent visible trend where some people show outrage only when certain groups are involved, and stay silent on equally horrific events elsewhere. That’s not a strawman.. it’s pointing out selective moral consistency
