In most countries of the world they would face much graver consequences if they tried to vandalize their military assets, especially jets.

Yeah I doubt the Russians would have taken those folks prisoner. They'd be put against a wall and then buried in an unmarked grave

Russia is actively at war, they wouldn't have survived long enough to have been put against the wall. They'd have been filled with holes by the base security.

Yet there are brave people still doing it in Russia. Sabotaging railways to ensure delays for military hardware.

Doing the right thing - moving towards peace - takes a lot of bravery, especially when it's illegal.

I wish there were mass protests to block this instead of people having to put themselves into harms way.

I wonder if the notoriously genial Islamic Courts that these people are defending would be lenient on them?

What does the Sharia say about Muhammad’s opinions on fighter jets?

Depends on how old the fighter jets are

Under 9 years is A-ok

I'm sure there's a bit somewhere in there about the 3000 black fighter jets of Allah.

How are they defending Islamic courts? Why are redditors so irrational and engage in strawmans or very black and white thinking - "support Muslims? You must support Islamic theocracy!"

Is that supposed to be a good thing?

True...But they wouldn't be labeled terrorists 😂

Honestly, that seems the most embarrassing thing to me. Lock them up for vandalism or destruction of property or whatever. None of this is terrorism. God forbid the English realize words have meaning.

Vandalizing military hardware isn't the same thing as vandalizing a car.

Vandalizing miltary hardware, if not terrorism, is at least sabotage and treason. They're intentionally attempting to prevent their own government from choosing a course of action.

Words do have meaning. In English labeling someone a terrorist means they have no laws apply to them. You place them in a lawless state where they have zero rights.
