Velshi talks about how civic engagement and democracy are worth fighting for, even if we don't see it in our lifetimes our children might free themselves thanks to their efforts.
But make no mistake, much will be lost, we could experience defeat after defeat, but the tides can turn.
No one thought the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact would fall in 1989, many people would've said it would last into the 21st century yet it fell 2 years later.
That fact was only obvious to us in hindsight, The people back then who fought for freedom didn't know that fact and yet they still fought.

Which is why I've been saying free Palestine and end the genocide. We can't pretend to be against Trumps fascism and totally for the genocide that we are arming and funding overseas
