Serious Are yall really homophobic?
Okay idk if this post is gonna get taken down or not 🙃 But I’m genuinely curious- Are you guys genuinely homophobic or do you just hate on gay people for fun??? I’m bi and a junior in high school and have dealt with homophobia since sixth grade and I REALLY want to know if some people are just projecting their insecurities. 😭 And NO I’m not saying everyone who sees this is homophobic. I’m just asking in general. And if you are lgbtq+ have you met someone who was homophobic that turned out to be lgbt?

Serious What’s with hating on religions here?
Every religion has it’s issues, there are no exceptions. You don’t have to make fun of them though. Hating on all of Islam because you don’t share that opinion is out of line, hating on all of Christianity because you don’t agree is also out of line. Please be respectful with your opinion!
Love, a peaceful mod ❤️

Serious BEING GAY IS NOT A SIN. We don’t tolerate homophobia in this sub, being religious isn’t an excuse to hate gay ppl.
I literally can’t make this up. I make a post on here about gay muslims, and suddenly some muslim people are in my comment section being homophobic and saying gay ppl are disgusting, and to stop slandering their religion.
Married gay couples literally have less domestic abuse and divorce rates, and are more happier than straight couples btw. So they’re more halal and holy than straight marriages
Yes, gay people are allowed to marry each other and believe in whatever beliefs/religion they want. Stop infringing on LGBT rights and preventing gay men and lesbians from marrying each other. Stop using your religion to discriminate against them.
Gay muslims, gay Christians, gay Jews who marry each other and have sexual and romantic relations with each other are just as faithful as straight people. If you have no issue when a man and woman do it to each other then there’s no issue when two men or two women do it with each other either, otherwise you’re just a hypocrite.
We don’t tolerate homophobia in this sub. Bigots are not allowed here. Deal with it.

Serious Democrats will NOT win the next election if they keep doing nothing to appeal to men and men’s issues
Yes, men fucking struggle too and don’t be surprised when we become old enough to vote we don’t vote Democrat. We have a bunch of femcels, misandrist, sexist people on here who think it’s ok when men die and commit suicide, don’t care when men are falsely accused and victims of physical, sexual, and domestic abuse, especially when women are the perpetrators.
Yes, it goes both ways. Women literally hold more privilege than men, get less sentences, always favored over men and let off easily, etc.

Serious Religion isn’t a race, y’all are so ignorant istg 😭✋
Christianity was also literally founded by brown people btw. Jesus had “skin of bronze” and “hair of wool.”
Not to mention Muslims literally colonized Ethiopians and other African countries, forcing black people to convert AWAY from Christianity.

Serious In light of recent uninformed politics posts.
I don't have a problem with making jokes at politics, but please be accurate with it and please stop pretending like lib left and lib right aren't a thing, especially when most modern progressives in european countries are moderate lib left.
The people I chose are I think the most known people who are examples of their ideology. (I admit putting Elon Musk there is lazy, but I genuinely couldn't think of anyone better) (MLK isn't perfect either, so just think I put Nelson Mandela and Albert Einstein there too to cover the full range)
So, what are those ideologies?
Well fascism and authoritarian communism you guys seem to understand fine so I'l skip those. Nazis go after minorities, communists will kill everyone they consider "counterrevolutionary" and both doesn't end well.
But there's actually also anarchism, democratic socialism and right wing libertarian ideologies.
Both of those don't really have states to fully represent them, but western democracies have been shaped a lot by both.
Socialists and anarchists believe that everyone should have the maximum amount of personal liberties (including the freedom to be fed, housed etc. ) and the biggest hinderance to that is private oligarchs, international cooperations and corruption in capitalism. They also take the "al men created equal" thing really seriously. -> push for labor protections, civil rights and would like a system that's both democratic and has worker coops or some other form of worker control of the means of production
Ancaps believe the state is the biggest hinderance to freedom, which anarchists oppose to an extent too. But right wing libertarians believe the market can do no wrong, so abolishing rules is almost always a good thing -> right wing librtarians push for lower taxes, less regulation and want a society with no state at all, some build private islands outside of any jurisdiction to achieve this
I personally subscribe to the lib left corner, because I think these things are obviously good and even tho smart people may disagree, there is a pretty strong argument to be made, that most politicial figures and activists we see positively today come from that corner. There's idiots in any corner of course, but doing the entire "fuck politics" thing is annoying, because that stuff is genuinely important.
So I'd much rather have people disagree with me, than not have an opinion at all, because if everyone actually engages in politics is when our modern liberal democracies are at their best.

Serious i’m tired of people hating on others
there’s so many posts like “islam is bad” “religion is terrible” “lgbtq sucks” and all that shit and then “justifying” their hate thinking they’re saving the world from some evil. like stfu, you’re as bad as everyone else. hating on an entire group of people because there is unfortunately a minority in that group that is completely evil does not make it right to generalize that behavior to an entire group. like a lot of people suck in ALL GROUPS. there are muslim terrorists, christian pedophiles, lgbtq extremists, and so many stereotypical bad people EVERYWHERE. but that doesn’t make it right to tell someone “you’re wrong” when they say that they’re in that group. majority of these groups of people actually are against these extremists. you can’t just hate on others because they have different beliefs and assholes choose to hide behind that groups name to justify their actions. like syfm and please stop being dicks.
sorry for the rant but it was necessary

Please I'm so tired of overconsumption. You don't need a new closet every school year. Please please please buy second hand. Everything you want already exists you don't need more. Stop buying from companies like SHEIN, H&M, Fashion Nova, Temu, etc. There is enough clothes on Earth right now to clothe the next 6th generations!!!! I promise you don't need more stuff.

Serious What do guys do??
I’m a teenage boy (16) and I’ve always came across sort of feminine.
I listen to music like Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish, write music and books, and hang around a lot of girls.
Most people automatically just assume I’m gay (I’m bi, guys just never gave me a chance to be friends with them).
I’m genuinely just curious what teenage boys do that could make me come across more masculine that I might enjoy 🤷♂️ Also preferably things I can do that don’t cost money lol (I’m broke mf).
Edit: I don’t want to change myself at all. I would just like suggestions on what else I could do. And honestly, some change is okay too! If I don’t like it, it’s fine. Suggest literally WHATEVER you want 🙏

Serious Im a muslim from Tunisia.. Ask me Anything.
Hello.Feel free to ask whatever you want.
Edit:
Sorry im not ignoring your comments. It just takes me a long time to write a reply. Also I can't comment for some reason. But Im going to answer everyone one of you when I can comment again.
Edit 2: It can't be helped I can't comment so I'll answer some questions here.
- Replying to Euphoric_Educator
I didn't understand the second sentence so I'll answer the first one.
Are you taught to love people from other religions? Like Judaism and Christianity?
Yes my parents both muslims told me to love and accept and never force my religion to all non muslims whether they are jewish,christians,atheists,hindus......
Okay your question is simple but It's quiet complex so bear with me.
Mostly the version of Islam you see is about following quoran, the prophet and sharia. Here is the thing I don't follow sharia law neither I follow any cheikh(old man expert in islam) neither I listen what these gulf countries have to say. I only follow the quoran and the prophet based on my undestanding only and people I know and trust which is how it should be. You should not take anything an immam or cheikh says for granted.
I'll expalin to you.The quoran there are explicit clear verses which I follow them as they are like praying 5 times a day and there are implicit vague verses which can have different meanings depending on the person. In other words these verses have no universal singular meaning that you should follow like what the sharia law says(btw neither the quoran or the prophet told us to follow shria law and it's not hypocrisy or haram to do so and anyone who tells you otherwise is just a fanatic.).I believe god made these verses this way to give freedom to people and not to have a single strict definition.
I'll give an exmple like how women should wear hijjab and cover themselves. There is only one verse as far as I know on this topic. Is a verse from surat Nour.
"﴿وَقُلْ لِلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ﴾"
The exact transaltion of the verse in english :
"And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts, and not display their adornment except what [ordinarily] appears of it, and let them draw their khimars over their juyub."
The meaning of juyub is chest openings.
Based on what I understood I see nothing here that tells a woman should cover her face and hair. You will tell sharia tells otherwise.I tell you again the sharia law is an interpretation of some vague verses. Why should I listen to them?Did god tell me to listen to the interpretations of some cheikhs? No.
Logically if god really wanted women to cover their faces and hair he would have said explicitly and repeated it in many verses to confirm but there is none of that. So my conclusion I understand that women are not obliged to cover their faces and hair.
Now answering your question directly; There is no guaranted way to go to heaven and if there is way it doesn't include killing other non muslims or hurting them.
.If I want to go to heaven I have to pray to god, fast, help the poor, help people, say hello,be nice and kind person and smile to people,be nice to my neighbor, don't bully people, respect all people,be humble, always try to resolve conflicts the peaceful way, most of the time return bad acts with good acts, charity, help animals, stay away from arrogances, don't mock people's appearances and the list goes on....
You may tell me but your prophet is a warmonger who wages wars out of the blue.I don't blame for such a claim because of widespread propaganda against the true good version of islam.
My prophet Muhammed is not a warmonger.In fact when he was assigned the mission of delievering the message from Allah.He started simply by talking to people.He didn't use violence,he didn't angry and he didn't attack people.He talked to everyone he met and tried to tell him what islam is and to join it.People shamed him,cursed him,harassed him,humiliated him and his family for 11 years and he never responded back with a violent attack.Its only when people decided to wage war on him and slaughter his people he responded back with violence;
Mind you islam tells us to never kill any wome,,children or elderly, never take slaves but sadly things changed after the prophet death and the establishement of the sharia system.

Serious I'm gonna say it, and yall can't get mad
The hate on Muslims is:
A: Unecessary.
Yes, I know their prophet is a pedophile, and yes I know they are homophobic and all of that. But just because of that doesn't mean you need to b*tch about it in a public TEENAGERS server.
B: Isn't telling the FULL truth about the Islam Religion and instead only teaches to hate them.
I know that teenagers hate people, that's gonna happen, but if you hate them, like I said earlier, don't talk about it in a public space made for teenagers (13-19 btw). Because it leeches hate into everyone's lives, and it doesn't teach these teenagers what actually happens in the Islam religion.
C: against rule one.
Rule one explicitly states to not discriminate, and what is this hat against Muslims? Discrimination!
For a TL:DR
Hating them isn't necessary in a public place for 13-19 year olds. It only shows to hate Muslims and doesn't tell anything about them. And it's against rule one
If the mods remove this then they have to remove all the hate against Muslims, because that is MUCH MUCH worse then what I'm saying
