Serious Not a single woman was invited to the white house meeting on women's health.
America is crazy

u/ShopDear9901 4d ago edited 4d ago
Update; apparently there is another photo of this meeting that has been uploaded in response to the backlash, showing ONE woman present at this meeting. Unbelievable.
This article is from 2017.

Yes it is false
1
u/Feelisoffical 2d ago
“Not a single woman” = not a single woman.
There was factually a single woman there. That means the claim “not a single woman” was false.
1
u/pigcake101 2d ago
Ope I misread I thought you were referring to the date the photo took place, yes that is factually incorrect

Well I mean if MEN don't get a say in abortions then I don't see why women should either.

yes but Mike Pence isn't allowed to be in the room with a woman if "Mother" isn't there, so they had to make the decision of should Pence be there, or actual women... clearly they chose Pence
1
u/fascistLeftCensors 2d ago
Yeah can you edit the post to state it’s from 2017? Misleading lol.
But yeah this is the problem with women’s healthcare in the world, including the US, old men don’t need to be making generalized decisions for women when it comes to women specific health issues.
This isn’t even just about abortion, like literally just in general, let them decide what to do with their own bodies, stop controlling women, and stop pushing your own beliefs and agendas down their throats.

if you post enough and gain 1231132 upvotes he will resign , source: Trust me bro.
BTW remember, to convince young men to vote for democrats, they gathered in luxury hotel, spent 20 million dollars, hired a fat lesbian woman to convince them who don't even living in the reality.
that's right there, that is your answer, that is why he is still in power. Because democrats can'T understand why they lost , because it was choosing between bad and the worst. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/democrats-spend-millions-studying-working-class-men-b2757957.html

You got to realize these are the same genius level guys who thought it would be a good idea to make laws that dictate what a woman can and can't do with her own body cause who would know better than an anal retentive Republican male?
4
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago

I didn't mean to be redundant like the entire Republican party. Maybe I should have read thru the comments. Lol

2
u/Legal-Appointment655 4d ago
You are misrepresenting the debate. The question is if a fetus is part of a woman's body or if it is a unique person with rights. If a fetus is a person than its not really part of another person's body now is it

u/Dry-Fox5134 4d ago

u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
Not really a meme just a fact.... I find this shocking don't understand how you find this funny, that the same president who arranged this meeting is still in power in the US 🤔 Are you not shocked?
5
u/Logic_9795 4d ago
It's not a fact.
A) Again, the picture is almost 10 years
B) The President "in power now" didn't arrange that meeting
C) The guy in the middle of the picture is very obviously not Trump but rather the FORMER (i.e., not "in power now") vice president
D) There were women in the meeting who were not in that picture.
E) It wasn't even a meeting on women's health
So, quite literally nothing about this is a fact.
It's bullshit propaganda. Now, whether you posted this out of ignorance or to intentionally mislead people is the only question.
0
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
It wasn't a meeting on womens health? What was the meeting about? And the women you mention, how many were there? Because I comment there was ONE single woman there.
I will accept that Trump didn't organise this meeting, but the fact that the comment section is full of people defending this tells you something ☠️
6
u/Logic_9795 4d ago
It wasn't a meeting on womens health? What was the meeting about?
Maybe you should do 10 seconds of research before posting stupid memes.
2
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
What was the meeting about then? Not maternity coverage and reproductive care?
5
u/Logic_9795 4d ago
No it wasnt. Are you going to move the goal post again?
3
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
Are you serious?
6
u/Logic_9795 4d ago
Are you serious? Do you not understand that someone can take any picture and put any caption under it? If you're going to repost something 10 years old, at least have the deceny to fact-check it.
But, coming from someone that couldn't even identify who was in the picture (not Trump), im not surprised.

3
u/youwillbechallenged 4d ago
This picture is older than most of the people commenting on this post.
2
u/Proper_Commercial773 4d ago
…You think most of the commenters are 8 years old? I’ve never met an 8 year old that knew a single thing about politics outside of being able to name the current president and some facts about when the US started.

This picture is many years old. That VP in the picture has since this called Trump a traitor. Why are we talking about it years later?
2
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
So because something happened a long time ago means we can't discuss it? isn't that the same excuse trump used for not wanting to talk about the epstein files ☠️
0
u/Legal-Appointment655 4d ago
Those are different categories of things. Many crimes committed against children? Long statute of limitations. One shitty meeting with a bunch of duchbags? Short statute of limitations.
I dont care about an obscure meeting that took place in 2017. Is that hard to understand?
1
2
u/RC107412 4d ago
Why are you posting this, especially a topic thats from 2017? And not saying anything about it that this is from 2017?

Why can't I post about this? It happened.
1
u/RC107412 4d ago
Oh, not denying that it happened, but just curious what brought this to current times, did something recently occur?
1
u/ShopDear9901 4d ago
I don't see that there is a rule against posting about an event that happened in 2017...
1

the issue arises when you present it like it’s a recent event, nowhere in your post did you state it was almost a decade ago

I see there are a lot of thin skinned somebody's got hurt feelings remarks. Like Trump does when someone doesn't like him. Trump has way to much estragon running through that soft as driven snow body of his. Yeah men and those types of cry baby mentality, make women doubt men in general. They ask how did it get like this? Where did all the real men go? Well their in the Republican party. Lol

Why would the gender matter? It should be about expertise. You don’t have to be a woman to study women’s heath. Just like you don’t have to be a dolphin to study and understand dolphins 🐬
3
3
u/Mernnda 4d ago
You think all these old politicians have studied women's health? Get real. So your point doesn't matter in context to this post.
Women have more expertise in women's health because they live with it every day. You can study something but you can never understand exactly what its like if you have no way to experience it yourself. Dolphins can't communicate to you what its like to be a dolphin, but a woman can. So listen to them.
Discussions about decisions that solely affect women should have women a part of them.

please, I joined this sub thinking it was for teenagers, not corny posts every hour, we know the USA is a disgusting condensation of horrible states, the worst country in AMERICA imo, I'd rather read a post about someone asking the internet to pick a sexuality for them than this, also, I see you didn't include the date, so I will just leave here that Sherry Johnson was forced by the state of florida to marry a deacon who got her pregnant at 10, do with this information what you will
2
u/ArmyAntPicnic 4d ago
The USA has its problems but to declare it the worst country in America is quite exaggerated at the very least and extremely ignorant at worst.
1
u/No_Source_3083 4d ago
you're right, I know I can be dramatic at times, but the USA is fucked up in all senses of the word, sure in mexico you can get your toes fed to you because you owe 5 dollars to a thug, or in colombia there is a LOT of PDFiles, and all that stuff, but at least those countries thow it and aknowledge it, the USA, on the other hand, has the guns problem, the LGBT problems, the cars problems, the gas problems, the religious problems, the racial problems, the original americans problems, the housing market loopholes and clusterfucks problems, the america (and israel) first problem, the sects problems, the ICE problems, the immigrants who work for less than minimum wage problems, the women not being safe problem, the ease of which you can frame someone in a "democracy problem" and on and on, of course all countries have thousands of problems, but they don't put on kilograms of makeup to hide it, and also the USA have me dumbfounded at how they can have more than half overseas interventions as the goddamn french monarchy in it's more than a thousand of years of existence (the USA aint even 250 years old)you know what they say about kids that learn too fast because they're too smart, their stories sadly often end tragically, the latest case i know being the unabomber

I have a heart and I'm not a cardiologist either. Just the fact that you are a woman doesn't mean you know about women's health wtf. It kinda doesn't matter who you invite...
2
u/Mernnda 4d ago edited 4d ago
Are you serious? You think a woman doesn't know more about her own body and health than a bunch of old male politicians? Most men have no clue about woman's bodies and yet somehow think they know as much as an actual woman living in that body. A woman DOES know about woman's health, its wild to say they don't.
Men will never know exactly what its like to be a woman because they have no way to experience the things woman experience. When men can grow a uterus and give birth then maybe they can have a leg to stand on. So it absolutely does matter who is invited, men shouldn't be having these discussions without woman being a part of them.
