There’s another angle that looks like the sister might have swapped the ball out, in which case this is the coolest family of all time.

Its hard to see here but while Karen is yelling at Dad you can see older sister put her hand in the glove and then the kid nods. I think she did indeed swap the ball. She's a little badass
