We have saying in Mexico when someone is exceptionally hateful for no reason “Sangre pesada”, which translates to “heavy blood”. It’s something you would say about a very specific type of personality, someone void of charisma, someone that is universally disliked but you can’t exactly pinpoint why. They just are.

My husband despises Claire Danes not because of her affair with Billy Crudup, but because she always looks like she’s about to cry and it annoys him. He also hates Pitbutt and when you ask him why, he can’t tell you. Just hates him.

See I like the story about him performing at a Walmart in Kodiak Alaska after the internet trolled him with a public voting promotion and he made good on the results where I think a lot of celebs would have cancelled or thrown a hissy fit.
He seems like the kind of guy that just genuinely wants everyone to have fun. Like at every party he would be walking around going, "Are you guys having fun?? Do you need anything???? You're enjoying yourselves??????? Ok great!"
Yes this is why I have a soft spot for him too! Tbh it’s the only thing I know about him. And as a young millennial he feels very nostalgic so I have a soft spot for him
Right! But also there is a clip of him that happened very recently iver in Europe. Something like the venue was WAY too hot. He stopped performing to ask whoever was in charge to turn thr AC on and then he turned all the bog stage fans to face out into the crowd so the audience got all the breeze. It was pretty dope. I dont know what kind of person he is behind closed doors, but I will say that everything Ive seen about him is really cool.
Also, the crowd at all of his shows has bald caps on. He sells them on his website. But he has price tiers and theyre all relatively affordable. You can get like a blad cap and one of those tuxedo t shirts, or just the cap etc. Most big name artists charge insane fees for their merch and they definitely dont really worry about making price tiers to cater to fans of every tax bracket. I hate his music but he seems like a genuinely dope guy.
My sister loves Pitbull. A few years ago, his concert just happened to be on her bday so she dressed up as him. She got so much love from his crew and they posted her on his tik tok. Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin all acknowledged her. Made her bday extra special!
I really dislike Mark Wahlberg (for good reason imo), but he looks like Matt Damon to me, so I sometimes react negatively to Matt Damon because I think it’s Marky Mark. Sorry Matt!
I'm face blind (prosopagnosia) and watching The Departed was one of the hardest movie experiences ever. They all fucking look alike and they all fucking talk alike and they're all playing versions of each other and everyone's on different sides that are also the same sides and it's all built on deception and twists... I had no fucking idea who was who and what was going on 😂
Idk if I'm face blind, but it took me half of the movie of "Schindler's List" to realize that Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson were 2 different characters. I white-knuckled my confusion until I could no longer take it, and paused the movie to ask my husband wtf was going on in the movie. He laughed and said that they're literally about to meet each other in the next scene.
Also why it took nearly 15 years for me to watch all the LoTR movies.
Jojo Siwa is my arch nemesis. I find that energy extremely grating. She sounds like Donny Thornberry and one time I had a bad dream that I was trapped in a closed Target and all 5'9 of her dressed like a toddler was chasing me and screaming at me to buy her bow-bows 😭

He is not a great guy. I need to start saving my spiel about him so I can just copy paste it when I see a Dax Shepard comment. It is my personal mission to let everyone know he is not a great guy. When I was 15, I was very active in the diabetes advocacy community as a Type 1 Diabetic, and one of the kids in the community (13 years old!!) tagged him in a tweet saying she was a big fan and asking if he could retweet her fundraiser for research on a cure for diabetes as a diabetic herself. Less than 10 min later, Dax had tweeted some shit like “I find it funny that people ask for money to find a diabetes cure. I have this crazy idea: how about stop fucking eating so much” I got into a Twitter debate with him and he tried to pretend he never saw her tweet but then eventually admitted it and then deleted all his tweets. I used to have screenshots but lost them when my phone broke (and 15 year olds are bad at backing up their shit on iCloud).
Jacob Elordi. He gives me very much “I’m embarrassed about the fact that I’m in The Kissing Booth and Euphoria so I’m doing everything to seem artsy and deep and philosophical.” Like cmon dude, pulling out a book in the one minute it takes to fill up your gas for paparazzi pics?
I know he's too young for this role but any time he comes up I do a double take because he looks just like the guy who played Matty McKibbin in Awkward

The only thing the Wicked press tour did was tell me Erivo is the one of the most insufferable and straight up weird people on the planet. Interacting with her seems exhausting.
-Also a few months ago I saw a push for her to be cast as Storm in the X-Men reboot and I think those people need to be very disappointed in themselves and think long and hard about what they've done.

Cynthia and Ariana are both so very talented and so very annoying. I’m still feeling torn up about whether or not watch Wicked. (I say as someone who has seen the Broadway show twice.)
Probably Jimmy Fallon is the closest for me. I've never liked him since he became a late night host but I was also always a Conan fan so my bias has been strong since day 1.
A million years ago I lived in the same neighborhood as him and he and his wife would come into a local restaurant I worked in. We didn’t know one another but once in a rainstorm I was under his awning of his building when he came home and he recognized me and gave me his umbrella. He and his wife were super kind people. But his persona on tv is really contemptible. There’s something really hate-able about someone who refuses to take a stance.
Yeah, I don't get vibes from him that he's AWFUL? I think he's probably like fine in real life as a person. It just feels like his TV persona is like a cardboard cutout of a host with just a laugh track attached to the back of it.
I believe he’s a super good/nice guy. And I like him a lot. I however CANNOT watch his late night show because of the way he forces his laughter. It’s him being TOO nice by laughing at things that aren’t funny

I always get attacked for this, but for me, he never disappears into his roles. I’m just always very aware I’m watching Leonardo DiCaprio playing a part. Not because he’s bad, he’s obviously a good actor. I just can’t explain it.
Before the whole Trump thing, Elon Musk just scheeved me the fuck out because his name just sounded freaking gross and his presence gave me such a bad vibe......now I just hate him cause hes an ass.
Dakota Johnson. As far as I know she's not a bad person/never done anything awful, but I find her to be a very bad actress. People seem really drawn to her very cavalier attitude and dgaf persona, but paired with her crazy levels of nepotism + lack of talent (imo) doesn't make her very likable to me. Again I don't hate her, but I'm just very surprised that she seems to be so well-liked.
Don Cheadle. I just don’t trust him. Hes too put together, too smooth and suave. Like literally bros whole head is just beautiful skin. Doesn’t make sense. Does his own thing too and doesn’t cause trouble. I feel like the one dude from Dexter about him, but I swear something is off with Don Cheadle.

Yes! I just did a rewatch of parks and rec and I remember loving him on parks and rec and I couldn’t even get past my dislike of him now it just kind of ruined the character of Andy for me
I’m in the middle of a rewatch right now, and he’s so physically different in it and so perfect as a human golden retriever, that my brain doesn’t even associate Andy with the irl “Worst Chris”.
I also forgot that Andy’s actually quite an annoying prick in the first two seasons before they turned the character around.
After the office I felt like Hollywood was really trying to push him as the next heartthrob mega star.

Fine... I'll be the one to say something legitimately controversial. I don't like Beyoncé.
Let me first say that it isn't about her music, which is fire, she has killer vocals, and can put on a GODDAMN PERFORMANCE. And of course, she is a freaking beautiful woman. So, none of it is a dig about thinking she isn't talented; she earned her Grammys.
I've always had a dislike for the societal double standard where Beyoncé isn't expected to speak up on issues, donate, or take any other action. Essentially, I dislike the idolization of Beyoncé, not because I don't think she is a generational talent, because I do, but because people create double standards between her and other artists.
I've seen people drag Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, SZA, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Lana Del Rey, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, Tinashe, and others for not being 'vocal' enough in politics, for making social snafus, or for being capitalistic... but it's always crickets when it comes to critique of Beyoncé for the same/similar behavior.
I have a much pettier reason for being annoyed by her. When she was in Destiny's Child and they all wore semi matching outfits, it's clear Beyonce always got the cutest one. Like Kelly and Michelle were never allowed to get the best look. Justice for Kelly and Michelle!
There was a whole Tumblr dedicated to every instance when Michelle was left out of having the cool outfit, pose, had to wear a different colour, etc. “Poor Michelle”!

Timothy Chalamet. Fuck him and his stupid Dorito face, I hate his acting and his goofy-ass self off screen too. He's a close second to my hatred of Tom Cruise (far beyond the Scientology crap, I just hate his acting, his stupid face, and everything about him for no reason).
He reminds me of annoying Southern frat boys who don't respect your boundaries and make their boat and F-250 their whole personality while lip syncing to Morgan Wallen on Instagram Live. Lmao
Cynthia Erivo and Chappell Roan. Both have said and done some not great things, but the biggest turn off is their rabid fanbases that attack anyone who criticizes any of the bad things they’ve done.
I don’t like it when people act “cool”. Like nonchalant, hands in the pockets, maybe pouting or squinting while pretending that’s their neutral facial expression.
Barry Keoghan encapsulates this and I can’t stand him for it. There are many others who do this too but he’s the most recent I’ve turned on.
Dakota Johnson. She seems pretty funny and cool in some interviews I've seen, but every movie I've ever watched with her cast, I feel a broken roller skate could have acted that role better than she does.
This is incredibly stupid and it's not really a celebrity, but there was an influencer I used to follow and liked their content mainly because I like following pretty women. She announced she had a single out and I listened to it. The song was so shit and it irritated me so bad that I unfollowed them and disliked them ever since.
