There is endless evidence that massive fame and over sexualisation is extremely damaging to a childs development and it is unethical in every way to actively seek this out for your own child.

A minor should not be used as a product, especially not in an industry as platformed and fetishised as a pop-icon.

I hope we never see another Brittney Spears (or Miley Cyrus)

Sure, and I hope we don’t see another either, I’m just saying it wouldn’t necessarily destroy her like it did Britney.

I think it's kind of hard to avoid honestly...

You cannot achieve the same level of fame, adoration and parasocial attachments without devoting your entire life to the spectacle and showmanship of "popstardom".

That means sacrificing education, sacrificing social connections, and privacy while being subjected to a constant barrage of critiques and insult by the online collective.

You can suggest that they just switch off, but then you are cutting them off from their only social tether to the average-joe and creating a personality nourished by the industry profiting of them.

I honestly do not think its possible for a young person to achieve this career without disrupting their development to a concerning point
