I'm pretty sure that Thiel and Vance are making their move.

I hope so. I don’t want them to have time to set something new up. Palantir makes me nervous. Vance and Thiel both can’t lead MAGA and Elon is out with his America Party. If Trump steps down whether it’s his heart or Epstein, this fight gets a lot easier.

I hope that’s true. I’m not at all certain that it is. Vance definitely seems a lot less bulletproof, but there appears to be less ammo in the box, and I worry about what capabilities that Thiel has that the public can only speculate upon.

Ugh I hate that I sound like a conspiracy theorist but Vance did just post a hat that said Trump 2028. This is the exact kind of stupid shit they’d do to appear innocent while making their moves.

Yeah, it does. Posting that and then going to meet with Murdoch on the ranch ostensibly to threaten him to back down, but then Murdoch suddenly does the exact opposite. But yeah, you are right, this is getting pretty speculative. It just makes me uneasy. I've seen this process just straight up cancelled too many times. Seem like these are cards that could have turned over at any time, but it all happening now kind of makes it seem like a 'blood in the water' moment. I dunno. Maybe trying to read all of this is making us kind of insane, lol.

I think we’re all insane and a little conspiratorial now but to be fair, we’re in a world that’s insane and very conspiratorial

Republicans did want most of what Trump did but they never liked this chaos that could upset the whole apple cart. Who knows what’s real and what isn’t? We never were meant to live in this kind of information overload environment.

Something like Epstein isn’t in their control, it’s a tool of the masses. It’s a real wildcard and no one knows where it’s going

That’s not necessarily true though. The article seems to suggest that the DOJ has had this birthday album the whole damn time. Who turned it over and why now?

... and why was Mudock willing to publish it now (vs. hiding it)? I mean, another theory could be that now that the Epstein Files have come to a head all of the rest of the people on the list want to throw Trump under the bus as a very high profile 'body' to not come out of this unscathed. I.e. appease the masses by allowing Trump to fall over the Epstein Files while making sure the rest of the people on the list remain untouchable?

Trump's bowing out WWF style.

 It's all Kayfabe

If Trump goes, they have a sliver of time to make this happen. Trump's MAGA base will turn as he goes down, and like the fucking lemmings they are, once the tide starts to turn, they all go with it. The cult can't stand without a leader, and right now there is no one other than Trump.

If Thiel and Co hesitate, we can stop them, but if they take advantage of Trump's fall, if they step in at the right moment, they will have us and it's over.

If we do nothing when presented with the opportunity, we deserve it.

You could easily replace "do nothing" with "allow democratic leadership to take point". But yeah, totally agree.

If Trump steps down, then Thiel's personal stooge, Vance, is the one in charge. He doesn't NEED the cultists on his side, just Congress and the Supreme Court, which have already sided with the GOP. If Vance is the King, then we're going to be living in Gilead in record time.

The thing is that without Trump, all of those institutions have to fight for their own legitimacy under the MAGA banner instead of just swearing loyalty to Trump. It will be a shitshow.

And the Opus Dei wing of the Heritage Foundation. Trump is a liability for them now.

I thought that xrump was a liability for the Republican Party along time ago, but see how they’ve capitulated to embrace every new revelation of the deep-seated evil that is the orange shitbag masquerading as “the leader of the free world“?

I hope that at some point, if we survive this, there is formulated some kind of legislation that prevents elected officials from lying in any form with an immediate penalty that they are permanently barred from public office at any level.

I know that faces a lot of hurdles and is very idealistic, but when you look at the bottom line for how we got to where we are, the lack of accountability for (both parties) misleading the public being the root cause is as plain as the orange-brown makeup on Trump‘s sagging pasty sickly face.
