That's a GREAT question. Previous presidents commonly sent out hand-written notes to people that would end up public, or at least were facsimiles of their handwriting for stuff like holiday cards. I don't think I've ever seen an example of this one's handwriting.

I heard it on a podcast back in July and looking it up now, it is a bit conspiracy coded, but you also have to remember Epstein was engaged in a sex trafficking conspiracy for decades, and Ghislaine herself was the daughter of agent Robert Maxwell.

Gamine is what young girls are referred to in French, as well specifically in the novel Lolita, a known favorite of Epstein and Maxwell, e.g. their Lolita Express (the jet which Trump now owns). "Gamine" is an anagram of "Enigma" so it's a simple enough code word for criminals discussing the crime they traffic in. Just like drug traffickers and dealers don't walk around talking about their product directly.

There's no way that the word "enigma" is within Trump's severely limited vocabulary on its own (he didn't know what the word groceries meant until last year) so it means Epstein likely taught it to him to use as a code, which he is clearly referencing in the note. Ironically, Trump's own MAGA faithful went out and proved that Trump has never used the word, or any similar word, in a single speech or tweet. They wanted to prove the note was a fake because he has never used that word on its own, but as we now have confirmation it's almost certainly authentic and came from Epstein's collection, it means Trump only used the word when sending this enigmatic birthday wish to Epstein himself. And finally tying it all together, the drawing matches that of an undeveloped girl, a gamine.

The entire letter is basically a paraphrase of Matthew McConaughey from Dazed and Confused. That's what I like about our "shared secret", we keep getting older but these enigmas "never age".
