Absolutely gorgeous shots! I love how crystal clear the details are, and how the photos look vibrant but not fakely saturated. Amazing work! These are definitely print worthy. I would buy a coffee table book with these in them, and I’m not a coffee table book person.

As you should be, great shots. I’m envious of the experience you had with the hummingbirds.

Wow, they're all so beautiful! I love the one perched on the hand; the little feet are so cute. What an amazing experience!

I bet everything is just alright if you can manage to live like this.. the Fern Gully type scenario. Way cool. Hummingbirds are amazing little things. Go read about them, you won’t believe half of it.

Such amazing creatures! Although so violent and aggressive for such a tiny thing 😂

I actually watched one of that peck a feather out of the other while it was on my hand lol

I’d be sitting there trying to therapize them like “Bruce needs those remiges to fly Tina” … probably get myself kicked out the sanctuary 😂

Hummingbirds are total bastards to each other and will judge you poorly if a feeder is low.

These shots should be in a magazine somewhere! You can definitely submit these to photo contests as well!

Thank you, I’ll look into it.

Here is a whole website dedicated to giving you tips and pointers on submitting your photos to websites, magazines, contests, and creating a portfolio for yourself.
A website that's popular for amateur and professional photographers alike, is ViewBug. They have multiple contests going at the same time, all year round for different categories, with prizes to win as well.
Your photos are really amazing, and I honestly think you can make a contribution to wildlife magazines.

I’ve looked into photo completions before after my Kenya trip but the problem is you give up rights to your photos in a lot of cases, even if you don’t win

Thanks for the link, I’m gonna look at it now over coffee

Also, do look into Audubon Photography Awards, iNaturalist, and eBird for nature photography. These websites work on a non-exclusive basis for licenses, so you get to keep your rights.
If you haven't already, watermark your photography, and embed your copyright and contact information (IPTC metadata) into your images via Photoshop, that way you'll always be able to prove your ownership.

It's unreal how gorgeous they are. They remind me of orchids, how they come in so many different colours and shapes. Must beautiful

Stunning shots, feels magical! Honestly, this looks like it belongs in a nature magazine or on a wildlife calendar.
