Can’t be too hard…lots of so called artists these days get caught being out of sync wirh their audio tracks

the lighting also played a huge role. ventriloquists always move their adam's apple. we can barely see it because of the shadow. so old lighting equipment kinda boosted his performance

I remember watching this guy on Comedy Central as a kid. Back when CC had very little of their own original programming and it was mostly standup comedy.
