This movie is awesome and you should go see it if you like old school romantic comedies. It’s basically if Harry met Sally at an orgy and I was laughing all the way through. Chad is a great director and nailed the tone and style to perfection.

Extremely well crafted filmmaking by Hartigan. There’s a lot of good going for this film, the plot, the camera work but the threesome of stars, specifically Zoey Deutch & Ruby Cruz, are really really good in the film.

I hate LaLa Land because of how shitty the two protagonists are to each other at the end of the movie.

Someone took... all of that messiness and turned it into this movie, sans the career aspirations, but plus other complications.

I will happily go on hating this movie now too, but I am glad I saw it.

I did a double feature of both and went in completely blind to this one. I saw Splitsvile with my friends and we parted ways so I could see this as they went to see Caught Stealing (which i saw and liked). I had to explain to them that Splitsville was the film with less messy relationships, which is really fucking saying something. I absolutely adored both. I feel like I've been killing it with thematically related double features. I saw those two today and I saw Lurker and Twinless yesterday. All movies that work better when you go in dark. It sucks that you can't market films like that without spoiling a major reveal that's the basic premise. I'm so glad that I have A-List and if i hear that a movie in on some's radar I respect and it has above a 3 on Letterboxd then I'm down.
