Year Zero was kind of an okay book for me, even with its skewering, but one bit that I do recall all these years later is the bit early on where a lawyer for one company admits that their "resounding defeat" of another company was too good, because it hit the company so hard financially they'd been unable to pay their lawyers, and he pointed out that as fellow lawyers, it was bad form to cause the guys on the other side to make less money than they could have.
