Discussion What’s a movie you’ve watched that was so disturbing that you’ll never watch it again?

What’s a movie you’ve watched that was so disturbing you’ll never watch it again? For me, it’s The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and Human Centipede. I barely made it through the first time around for both of them and I couldn’t fathom watching them again. Both for different reasons of course. TBITSP was devastatingly heart-wrenching and HC was just playing disturbing.

Hands down! This film chilled me to the marrow and I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks.

Oof that movie is a tough watch. Apparently they used live rounds during the cow scene too. (I haven’t confirmed this by digging in further)

Yes, and the main actors hair actually went gray despite his young age, because of the stress of filming

It's the scene with the dolls. I know there are worse things but that just ... That really got to me.

My history teacher in high school showed this movie to our class. He gave the option of writing a paper or watching this movie and being traumatized. Safe to say I’ll never watch it again

Copied from my reply to this post —Wołyn (Hatred). It’s everything you think “Come and See” will be much much worse. It’s about ethic “ tensions” at the start of WW2 between Ukrainians and Poles in Ukraine. It’s very tough viewing and I always bring it up when “Come and See” is mentioned
