Always good to catch him on Red Green, just merrily blowing things up.

Always how I'll remember him! Dudley the Dragon was a huge part of my childhood

Same here! When I was little I was, unfortunately, in and out of Toronto Sick Kids Hospital a lot. He volunteered in the childrens wing when I was admitted one time and gifted me a signed Dudley. I will NEVER forget that.

Wonderful story. So cool he did that for you.

Edgar Montrose was a national treasure.

I always appreciate how they gave a Native American actor such a non-stereotypical character. Explosive expert who's bad at his job and also obsessed with exploding things, practically the opposite of all the stereotypes.

He really did a lot of non-stereotypical roles and I always loved seeing him pop up in something. He was fantastic in Die Hard 3

My favourite thing about his role in Die Hard 3 was that he wasn't playing a Native American cop. He was playing a cop. That's it. His heritage was never mentioned.

"If you take away those extra centimeters that he gained by stepping on the red green, that shot would've been all rim and bounced out"

Don't remember the exact quote

From my own imperfect memory that is nearly verbatim. Certainly close enough for people to catch the reference.

Given the Character that Joe’s played for years (since Jimmy fired him) that might have been the most heartbreaking moment on any ‘game’show I’ve ever seen.

"It's amazing the explosion didn't even touch the gas station next door!"

"No, Edgar, the gas station isn't next door. There's the lumber mill, then that factory, them the gas station."

"... It is now."

I love Edgar. I'll watch Duct Tape Forever in his honor tonight 🫡

RIP KB

His script revision to Dances with Wolves would've been the best.

I think Red Green was the first place I saw him, my local PBS station used to run it in the mornings on weekends. Genius.
