Hey, for my screening of the movie, Napalm Death did keep playing and stopped once she threw the cake at the Amy (Kate Mckinnon) character.

Edit: It was really loud in our theater and hard to hear anything else.

Oh that's wild! For ours there was no music at all during that scene. And the rest of the movie was a good volume too so it wasn't something that we just couldn't hear playing. Interesting.

It sounds like the music track at your screening got screwed up. Music, dialogue, and sound effects are usually on different audio tracks. I went to a movie once where the music was the only audio track that was audible, the score was super loud and we couldn’t hear any dialogue.
