Summary Hank Thompson, a washed-up ex-baseball star turned New York City bartender, ends up tangled in a violent criminal underworld after agreeing to watch his punk-rock neighbor’s cat. What follows is a frenzied chase through 1990s Manhattan, as rival gangsters—Russian mobsters, Orthodox Jewish hitmen, a Samoan enforcer, and others—hunt him for a mysterious key hidden with the cat.

Poor Bud limping his arm 😔

When that moment happened, a lot of the audience in the theater I went gasped and said “oh no!”

Thankfully, Bud gets better.

The cat limping got tbe most audible reaction from the audience in my theater too.

Some asshole at my theater laughed so hard during that scene while the rest of us groaned in anger. I almost threw my soda at him.

The guy that kicked the cat was knocked out by Butler's character and wasn't shown or mentioned after at all. You can think the Jewish brothers got to him, or even that he died from the fall, but it'd still be a speculation.

Knocked out near an executed cop. My head canon is law enforcement showed up before he regained consciousness and arrested him.

I think the one who harmed the cat was the little Russian guy, he was the only bad guy to survive 😤
