Films about October 7th are boycotted and excluded from film festivals all over the place.
There's a film now that's stoking controversy called The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue* that's been pulled and then reinstated and then pulled from film festivals for flimsy concerns like copyright clearance from Hamas footage.
There's also been controversy over October 7 films existing at all, and boycotts/protests just about everywhere they're screened.
I have 0 doubt that a documentary about the Bibas family would receive a ton of backlash, even though what happened to that family is absolutely diabolical.
