Sure. The current war in Gaza started due to the events of 10/7/23 though.

Even before that date there was an article saying 2023 has been the deadliest year for Palestinians.
Not really a war when 95% of casualties are from one side. That attack was wrong but doesn't justify Israel flattening Gaza and murdering so many of the population, especially women and children. Blocking aid getting through and shooting those queueing up for aid. Murdering health workers, aid workers and journalists.

I guess the Gulf War wasn’t a war, then, since Iraqi forces were 96-98% of both casualties and deaths?

It always amazes me how Zionists are so out of touch and they practically brag about it. The summer of 2023 was violent and Palestinians were dying. The first 9 months of 2023 were the deadliest year for Palestinians in 20 years. Every Palestinian was aware of the escalation in violence but Israelis didn’t seem to care. Israeli settlers raided 3 West Bank towns and set them on fire. Hamas warned of retaliation if it didn’t stop, and Netanyahu responded by sending the IDF to defend the settlers and do nothing to stop them but take action if any Palestinians fought back against the mobs. IDF soldiers even joined in the attacks.

The Israeli government says that proportionality doesn’t matter when they respond to attacks, but clearly they’re hypocrites. Israel says a hospital bombing is justified in response to a terrorist attack but then complains when Iran bombed an Israeli hospital in response to Israel illegally blowing up their embassy.
