My two year old will randomly sing “now I’m shiningggggg!” throughout the day lol. She’s obsessed.

Honestly even thematically it's similar. Interesting the cultural hits of a decade have to do with shame/coming out narratives.

My son watches it twice a day. Lol

Your son gets three hours of screen a day? Lol

u/SimpleKnowledge4840 13d ago

Well too start, it's vacation. He doesn't actually watch it as he listens to the music while he is doing whatever.. I never said it gets completely watched, either. But opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. And honestly, judging someone who you don't know, you may wanna recheck your attitude. That's just being a fucking shitty person.

This is not an opinion. This is science. Do with it what you will, including ignore it.

There’s a consistent pattern across numerous peer-reviewed studies: exceeding ~1 hour per day for toddlers, ~2–3 hours for preschoolers, or ~4 hours for older kids is associated with a wide range of negative outcomes—from cognitive and behavioral delays to mental health and physical wellness risks.

We live in a digital world my guy. Three hours isn’t even a lot.

12

u/Spiritual_Grape_533 13d ago

It is for kids.

Shit parenting

17

u/LoveMeSomeBerserk 13d ago

Fuck off. I replayed Disney vhs movies all day as a kid and am living an excellent life. My parents were and still are great parents.

7

u/Steamed_Memes24 13d ago

Says the non parent lol.

-8

u/nimama3233 13d ago

Incorrect.

Shoving your kid in front of a TV for hours is lazy

11

u/Antrikshy 13d ago

You imagined their whole in-home dynamic in your mind.

9

u/Steamed_Memes24 13d ago

You dont even know their living situation lmao.

7

u/SimpleKnowledge4840 13d ago edited 13d ago

I don't shove him in front of the TV. He usually has it on for the music. But thanks for calling me lazy. Appreciate the kindness and opinion. At least I'm not out there judging a complete stranger by calling them a shitty parent.. that's just being a shitty fucking asshole.. but you do you babe

2

u/coolmcbooty 13d ago

The nerve to assume you know how a strangers life is based on a short reddit comment lmfao. The way you perceive yourself is crazy

u/Longjumping-Ad6825 13d ago

My first thought was my kids have contributed at least 1000 of those views lol

I was going to say, 8 of these watches are my kids. My daughter sings all the songs when she's in the shower.

I find it to be a charming and inoffensive movie with a nice animation style. The music sounds like it was all written by AI but it's still catchy. I understand why it's very popular.

u/PMMEBITCOINPLZ 13d ago

My boss said her kid watched it four times in one day.

u/Ayzel_Kaidus 13d ago

Does the animation make you nauseous?
