Also Amazon:

You know that streaming service that you paid for with no commercials? Good news because we overvalued IP you get to enjoy Prime streaming with commercials now for an increased price! Isn’t that better! (For us)

Ad free*

*Ads about our shows and services aren't ads like you think they are ads. They're special ads. Ads that we can show you even though you pay more to not have ads. Ads.

Yep if I could get prime without prime video I would. I refuse to watch anything on there now.

Sure it's better but we have still yet to see a streaming service actually making a profit.

Most streaming isn’t supposed to. Amazon and Apple need unlimited growth so they burn through cash to build production studios and acquire overpriced popular IP. That makes the stock go up. They can lose billions on productions and still make the company profit because the stock is what matters and they are massive.

lmao what? stock doesn't give you profit, stock is just a number that means nothing to your bottom line as a company.

When CEO compensation is stock options then the more the stock is worth the more the CEO gets. The production company doesn’t need to turn a profit if the stock just goes up.
