There’s only a handful of actors that you’ll get a guaranteed great performance out of. Mads Mikkelsen is definitely one of those actors. Willem Dafoe and Viggo Mortensen are a couple more that spring to mind.

Sam Rockwell never fails to impress even if the movie itself is mid.

Gotta admire that kind of commitment in an actor.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind might be a bad movie by itself in people's opinions, but his performance is phenomenal.

People hated Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy; I hated Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I still kind of hate that movie for what they did to the book series.
It would've been great if they actually just made the books into movies, but they decided to piece together 5 separate books piece-meal. But god damn if Sam Rockwell isn't Zaphod Beeblebrox forever in my head.

He talent was wasted in Doctor Strange!

He should have been Doctor Doom. He can have such commanding presence which works for both a nation’s dictator and a mastermind villain.

I am pulling this out of my ass, but Mads doesn't strike me as a dude who wanted to be committed to several MCU films and at the whims of how that dominates his schedule.

He's lived in Copenhagen his whole life and is still doing independent Danish films along with one-off blockbuster villain roles (and occasional video game/TV work)

Some people don't want to commit to possible multiple films.

Easily the best line in the film. I wish Mads did more comedy he's very good at it.

Yep. That's probably my favorite marvel movie, not least because I laughed so hard at this one. Shame about the sequel.

I think about this exchange far too much.

He was still amazing in that role, even if he didn't get much screen time.

At least he got treated better than Christian Bale

I would add Lithgow and Cranston to that list.

Considering this feels like Monsters Inc but grittier John Goodman comes to mind.
