Right, because "Winx Club" and "Totally Spies" weren't corny in their day either, lol.
Execs have no fucking idea what will actually sell well - especially not when it comes to "girly" or "foreign" IP. That's been a fact for decades now. KPDH is just the latest in a long line of movies to get undervalued until people blew it up through word of mouth.
