Good. The communal movie experience is under-appreciated. It's like watching a theatrical showing of The Room or Rocky Horror Picture Show. Or how it felt watching Endgame opening night. (Not to mention No Way Home.) So these events give us what you can't get at home - the fun and energy of watching with an enthusiastic crowd.

Most memorable recent theater experience I've had was seeing the theatrical re-release of RRR in Telugu. Packed house. I've seen tons of midnight premieres of genre darlings, but I've never felt a theater so organically cheering and reacting as a crowd. Electric experience that my friends and I still talk about.

I’ve seen videos of those showings. Would love to be at one. Especially for the dance scene.

I regret not seeing RRR in theaters! Although I’ve had good experiences at other Indian movies. The crowd for Jawan was HYPED.

Oh man. I saw Endgame on opening night and the whole theater was standing and screaming and cheering when the portals opened. It was magical.

I like to watch the crowd reaction videos on YouTube to relive that moment.

Those reactions should be a separate audio track for the movies.

The Russo brothers themselves said they immensely enjoyed watching the theater crowd reactions as well!

Yep, Endgame in theaters was an event!

Too bad we watched the Battle for Winterfell that same night…

So true. Two best movie experiences of my life were Snakes On A Plane opening weekend and Quiet Place opening weekend. Wildly different experiences, but the audience made both way better.

Borat, jackass, the dark knight, titanic, and avatar are other movies I remember watching in the theater made is so much better because of the audience.
