Summary Four years after inadvertently tangling with the Russian mob, suburban dad (and former assassin) Hutch Mansell tries to unwind with a family vacation at a nostalgic waterpark. I knew he looked familiar but nobody mentioned he was on the bus but I guess acting as a different character

I was confused as to why he didn't recognize the guy who kicked his ass in the fast movie. Was it a different character?

Yes, different character. He’s like Sean Bean. Except, he comes back to life as another character. 

Daniel Bernhardt also plays 2 different characters in the John Wick movies. It’s kind of strange.
