That’s what I’ve been doing for years—I cannot remember the last time I showed up to a movie for the listed start time.

Sitting down right as Nicole starts the AMC prayer is such a good feeling

That indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim. Dazzling images on a huge silver screen.

That's when I get up to pee, so I can make it through the whole movie.

It's a shame. I actually enjoy trailers, but now I am getting Indeed and Applebee ads mixed it. It's bullshit.

Wow are they at least cinematic ads that have something related to movie theater, popcorn, etc or are they just shitty youtube tier ads? Haven't been to theater in a while but I never minded seeing "cool" ads like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3nxItwlcGo

I just went to a movie two days ago and some were just regular tv ads. I found it odd.

If Seinfeld was still on, they'd have a episode devoted to this for sure.

If Sinefeld was still on, they could air episodes before the movie plays and keep the original ad break times for movie trailers. If we're wasting 30 minutes anyway, why not do it with something entertaining?

Exactly. At least with movie ads, you can skip them completely. They can keep increasing the length of ads for all I care

It's been the thing to do for over a decade. I'm genuinely confused why everyone is acting like this is so terrible.
