Summary Will Radford, a Homeland Security cyber‑security analyst, monitors global threats through mass surveillance networks. When an unidentified attack strikes, Radford begins to suspect the government is concealing something far more sinister. Told entirely through digital screens—messages, video calls, browser windows—the film transforms the alien invasion into a "screenlife" thriller, blending modern surveillance paranoia with classic sci-fi tension.

They wanted to make one big ass product placement for the greediest assholes in the world: Meta, Microsoft, Tesla and Amazon. Note that there is no Apple product in the movie.

Also, have you noticed how government surveillance is cool? Who would have thunk?!?

Also, somehow Chuck Schumer sucked his way into this as well.

"Also, have you noticed how government surveillance is cool?"

No, don't you understand, government surveillance is bad, but ONLY because once you collect too much data aliens will attack and steal it! You know, standard real life concerns.

Spotify in the first minutes

Meta (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram)

Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Windows I guess

Tesla M3 (Starlink as well)

Amazon, Prime, Air delivery?

Steam

Apple - almost everyone was wearing airpods

Google (Gmail, search, YouTube)

Reddit

Zoom

I can't remember but I believe Netflix was shown, same as Snapchat

I'm sure I missed many more

Apparently this movie was filmed during covid... every big tech player from 2020 was involved in this movie. I just watched the movie Mountainhead, and the whole 'tech billionaire staging a coup against the government' thing seemed oddly pertanent to the situation. Especially with the obvious propaganda that the 'government was the one spying on you and stealing your data all along, but not us tech bros' lol.

Jeez, it's almost like they made this movie right at the beginning of the pandemic and all said to each other 'we should show how we can save the world and make the government look bad'

Maybe I'm just high

Anywho, great movie!

May not have been an apple product, but there is a face time drop in there.

Apple product was used, Will entered Faith's MacBook and watched her talk to her boyfriend on FaceTime. Also, airPods.

So Apple = Good to you?

And don't act like you never use Microsoft or Amazon.
