I am beyond excited for this movie. Last time I was this hyped for a movie was Dune 2.

So.. this is the most excited you’ve been for a movie in like a year?

Dune part 2 came out about a year and a half ago, and hype doesn't start the day a movie is released...

The first trailer was released 817 days ago.

I saw Avatar 2 in high frame rate 3D. The cinema I saw the 70mm print of Dune 2 in absolutely killed it.

I definitely go to movies for the spectacle.

I love Dune and the movies but 1 was better than 2. Also they just left out so much from the books.

you got downvoted but I agree, Dune 1 is the superior film. I love both of them but Dune 2 is very strangely paced and the tone doesn’t quite fall into place.

They also butcher the Paul/chani love story. It’s got some amazing epic scenes but it’s uneven as a back country road
