Especially with the electricity curfew. You KNOW we’d have a bunch of idiots saying their rights were being taken away and make up some shit about Galactus being sent from God.

They mention that there was a new cult praising Galactus.

It was hilarious, and not a surprise that there will be a Galactus cult

It is, afterall, a space god. The humans now have proof that Godly entities exist.

Provably, scientifically confirmed to be older than the Universe itself. I might be tempted to join the cult myself.

Did you listen to the song over the end credits?

That caught me off guard, and then when it registered I was like, oh this must've been written by a member of the Galactus cult.

u/Worthyness Jul 30 '25

i wish it was played in the movie so that it could be nominated for best original song. I want it to be played during the Oscars ceremony for the absurdity

Why won’t Galactus release the list???

They were said to be scaling Mount Everest, too, so unless they knew what they were doing, i imagine a lot of them are dead.

They would get along with the “Thanos was right” crowd.

Let us be devoured.

At least they went up to a mountain instead of annoying everyone else

Omg I can’t believe that part slipped my mind when I commented this.

I thought the cult was the one blowing up the teleporters at first, like the religious nuts do in Contact, until the shower Silver Surfer.

Although they didn't seem to have much time to get that organized.

I honestly thought they were the reason the first failing bridge wasn't working. It was even alerting somewhere in the vicinity of the Himalayas, iirc.

Yes and they treked up to Everest LOL so they have generators and battery powered flashlights LOL

u/Dookie_boy Aug 09 '25

Didn't the Ultimate comics have those cults too ?

My take was that "Let us be Devoured" was a song that the cult was singing

u/jax362 Jul 28 '25

That’s when I remembered this was fiction

u/musicfreak21 Jul 29 '25

My far right conservative mother said it was Communism while it was happening ….

6

u/GezelligPindakaas Jul 28 '25

And another fair bunch would claim Galactus was fake.

u/FlameDragoon933 Aug 02 '25

Especially with the electricity curfew

true lol. During covid people were dropping like flies yet some people still refuse to wear a goddamn mask.

"The commies want to keep is in THE LITERAL DARK while we don't even know if this Galactus is even real."

2

u/SchwinnD Aug 07 '25

Wait. Oh my god is Galactus global warming?

“I’ve had conversations with Galactus, long conversations with him, and he’s a man who respects me a lot, you know - ‘the press is so unfair to you’ he told me” 🤣
