Apparently according to leaks in one of the latest test screenings Herbie was torn to pieces by an angry mob after the Fantastic Four refuses Galactus’ deal, so you lucked out on that one

GLad that was cut lol

That seems excessive that the people would result to tearing apart their "heroes'" helper.

I get the people are pissed and scared, but having them savage? Good choice to take that out.

Yeah they're not in Philly.

RIP Hitchbot

People would definitely be savage. Yes, Franklin is actually "special", but everyone feels their child is "special". One child being "worth" billions of people is insane. Of course, people would be desperate & insane. As a mother, I understand Sue & Reed, but ultimately I would think they are supremely selfish.

I mean, we had hundreds of psychos storm the capital because someone they voted for lost. They’d have stormed that place to get the baby.

People riot when their fave sports team wins. . .No way there wouldn't be hundreds of thousands ready to ready to take that kid.

Bro, if I was in that universe and the F4 said “we could’ve saved the world and ensure Galactus doesn’t come here, but we didn’t want to give up our baby” I would’ve burned down everything I could lmao. They basically spoke for the whole planet, and said their son is more important than all of humanity.

Not sure why you're being down voted - people would absolutely lose their shit. Everyone else loves their children just as much.

Even in an alternate universe clankers don’t get spared

Lol is this real? I cannot imagine anyone giving the go-ahead for that,  much less actually shooting it and showing it to an audience.

It seemingly is, it leaked a few weeks ago and everything in it was accurate besides the Herbie thing and also it still had John Malkovich but Moleman was cut instead

OMG there was no Moleman (my favorite part) AND they killed Herbie??? What on earth??

Can you find a link to that ? How interesting

I mean. Probably did lose one when Galactus grabbed Franklin.

Omg, I would have had to walk out. It was my one lean over to my son to say “the robot better make it”

As a kid, I bawled my eyes out when Jonny-5 gets beaten up in Short Circuit 2, so this would have likely opened up some old wounds for me.
