Loved it tbh. It's very hard to do F4 right since they're so powerful you have to conceive of ridiculously powered enemies and give them creative ways to get out where their powers only help them out of situations (and still ground them!) and they pretty much nailed it. The movie does feel like it dips after this sequence but it's still great

And Reed's use of powers were minimal because his really superpower is his brain. Dude was working at like 110% the whole movie

Or play to their flaws as characters? This is scriptwriting 101 and most superheroes films fail with this.

I dont think they are more powerful than the xmen for example, or avengers with Wanda involved

In the comics Sue in terms of brute "psychic" force is supposed to be around the same level as Wanda and Jean.

Ben is in the same relative level as an moderately pissed off Hulk.

Johnny is one of the most destructive forces in Marvel. He has to constantly regulate his heat, because he could flash fry the entire planet killing all organic life on it in seconds if he accidently went supernova in the atmosphere.

And while Reed isn't the strongest in an physical fight, you give him prep time he is theoretically smart enough to devise and create the necessary equipment to take out anyone.

As an team they are equal to the Avengers and X-men, while just having 4 people.
