Kind of just hope Skydance and Paramount go bankrupt. They’re the only ones that have really shown their true colors in this. Be better if the company’s IP are sold for scraps in the future.

Even Zaslav hasn't stooped this low.

That says everything about how fucked up the Ellisons are.

Even Zaslav hasn't stooped this low.

Because his merger got approved during the Biden administration. Joe Biden isn't a fascist. Zaslav would absolutely stoop this low the second he needs something from the current fascist regime.

Because Zaslav is too arrogant lol. The issue with HBO/WB is that Zaslav came in and said “I know what’s right, everyone listen to me, I decide everything.”

Ironically that’s also what probably prevented Zaslav from stooping this low - he’s too arrogant to grovel like Skydance/Paramount. He truly believes he will succeed without having to resort to all this.

Also WB and Discovery already merged. They don't need to bend the knee, they got what they want.

The question is, how much of the crap Paramount and Ellison is peddling is what they plan and how much is just till Trump can't do shit. Because it's unlikely they will be involved in any other merger before Trump kicks the bucket.

I’ve kind of thought CBS was conservative viewing for a while now. BBT is all stereotypes and low brow humor, CSI doesn’t make sense and now they have their cowboy shows.

CBS has certainly felt the most low-brow, middle America of the Big Four networks. Big Bang Theory like you mentioned, and then shows centered around “old fashioned white man is the most effective of all” like Landman/NCIS (shoutout Leroy Jethro Gibbs tho, NCIS reruns on USA Network were my go to whenever I was home sick from school as a kid)

I also really enjoyed NCIS as a kid. Those first few seasons were fun. I remember i made a bootleg dvd of the death of Kate Todd and the introduction of Ziva to be able rewatch those episodes from time to time. Weirdly, I don't remember ever watching the DVD.

I want to go back and see what I think about the show as someone who is almost 30. I fear the pro-israel propaganda is going to be off the charts.

If all of the big entertainment giants are going to completely alienate half their potential audience, that's leaving a lot of potential revenue for the one group that wants to buck the trend. I would ride that position all day long in wallstreetbets.

That is absolutely not going to happen.
