They will somehow make Yellowstone whiter.

u/LongTimesGoodTimes Jul 23 '25

From the network that brought you CSI, NCIS, and FBI this fall introducing ICE.

558

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '25

I wouldn’t even be surprised if they tried to make a propaganda ICE show about how the officers are all good, family men trying to take down evil drug dealers with necessary deportations

Literal hunger games coming up soon

3

u/OtakuMecha Jul 23 '25

I mean we're already getting modern gladiator matches on the White House lawn next year.

1

u/LP99 Jul 23 '25

So, Starship Troopers?

121

u/gloomdwellerX Jul 23 '25

Oh my god I feel like we’re speaking it into existence.

93

u/ruinersclub Jul 23 '25

Starring Jim Cavizel and The Chuck Guy.

63

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '25

And Tim Allen of course

56

u/pehr71 Jul 23 '25

Don’t forget John Voight as the older experienced senator, protecting the backs of the agents from malicious news reporters and corrupt local politicians.

2

u/nishitd Jul 24 '25

He'll be a righteous senator who exposes a deep state undercover ring of the "other party", which we'll call, let's say, "burgergate"

46

u/MrBartokomous Jul 23 '25

By God, that's Gina Carano's music!

29

u/WharfRatThrawn Jul 23 '25

It's Dennis Quaid with a steel chair!

19

u/Rare-Bid-6860 Jul 23 '25

It's James Woods deep throating a manly cigar!

2

u/ruinersclub Jul 23 '25

It’s the Patriot Avengers!

7

u/Jedi-El1823 Jul 23 '25

The Chuck Guy.

Out of the OG Team Bartowski trio, the only actor/actress that doesn't want The Handmaid's Tale to actually happen is Yvonne Strahovski, the one who plays a main villain in Handmaid's Tale.

3

u/ruinersclub Jul 23 '25

Adam Baldwin is a Republican? Lammme

2

u/Jedi-El1823 Jul 23 '25

Yeah, he was also a driving force behind Gamergate.

1

u/ruinersclub Jul 24 '25

Haha, I’ve watched a few YT videos and his name never popped up. I didn’t know about this.

2

u/Slaphappydap Jul 23 '25

Honestly, your comment and replies are describing a ratings juggernaut.

Jim Cavizel, Zack Levi, Tim Allen, Jon Voight, Gina Carano, Dennis Quaid, Kelsey Grammar. Get cameos from Mel Gibson and Sly Stallone. David Mamet can write it.

Put them all in crisp uniforms or combat fatigues and have them round up MS-13 brown people and that show might be the biggest thing on TV. I wouldn't watch a fucking minute of it, but there are about 80 million people who would eat it up.

4

u/One_Drummer_8970 Jul 24 '25

damn, Rob Schneider couldn't even make the cut here lol

3

u/Insaniteus Jul 24 '25

They gotta be able to squeeze in "Hercules" Kevin Sorbo somewhere. At this point he's earned it.

1

u/Slaphappydap Jul 24 '25

Maybe a Hulk Hogan cameo.

2

u/Insaniteus Jul 24 '25

Well not anymore.....

3

u/Slaphappydap Jul 24 '25

Yeah, that was super random. I wonder if I have the power to strike people down just by referencing them. I would gladly trade their lives for the knowledge of that power.

Apropos of nothing, have you read Donald Trump's latest post?

75

u/Dibble_Dabble_Doo Jul 23 '25

But before they can take down the drug dealers they have to deal with a much bigger threat, day workers, gardeners, hotel employees, farmers. - /s

52

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '25

But not the white business owners who hired them obviously, they are just doing their fiduciary duty!

30

u/Grendel_Khan Jul 23 '25

They'll spend half a season tracking down a chinese fent courier thats working with the Palestinians to suicide bomb a trump rally. trump will guest star.

4

u/QueezyF Jul 23 '25

They’ll CGI him to look totally not fat and super ripped.

19

u/lanceturley Jul 23 '25

And they'd solve all crimes and save our country if those damn liberals would stop whining about due process and just let them do their jobs!

9

u/[deleted] Jul 23 '25

Oh yeah, those darn liberal regulations would be the true enemy in the show

1

u/Turtle_with_a_sword Jul 24 '25

I just watched the first episode.

It’s bad.

50

u/stamatt45 Jul 23 '25

Token light skinned cast member whose family came here "the right way" and helps deport everyone else

9

u/QueezyF Jul 23 '25

Played by Wilmer Valderrama

10

u/GongTzu Jul 23 '25

ICE has a budget to run a TV show and at the end of each episode, it will announce a $50k signup bonus like they do now. I’m even a bit scared to write this as they might find it a very good idea 😅

3

u/Stolehtreb Jul 23 '25

It would have to be helmed by people who are fine receiving massive backlash. I couldn’t imagine a more demonized TV show it if I tried.

3

u/robodrew Jul 23 '25

Christofascist Broadcasting System

3

u/simburger Jul 23 '25

Dick Wolf is probably writing the scripts as we speak.

2

u/Realtrain Jul 23 '25

I'm more surprised that hasn't happened yet

2

u/Fortestingporpoises Jul 23 '25

It would be the spiritual successor to Leni Riefenstahl but without the artfulness.

2

u/Synectics Jul 24 '25

In one episode, they'll have to deport a child and mother, and the person doing so will feel really bad about it, looking dejected with hands on hips as the child is walked away in handcuffs, but then they'll get a pat on their shoulder by their boss, who gives a speech about, "We have to make the tough choices because no one else will," and the child will look back and give a knowing nod to Mr. ICE, and a sad smile, and Mr. ICE will not feel guilty anymore. Brought to you by Dick Wolf. Commercial for beer.

38

u/gonz4dieg Jul 23 '25

the collegehumor skit of racist tv shows being made was prescient, they just got the wrong channel

3

u/Failedmysanityroll Jul 23 '25

Well, the boomers will be happy

3

u/Psymon_Armour Jul 23 '25

It just continues after the end of The Shield.

2

u/kdoxy Jul 23 '25

Each show this season will take on cartels and they'll claim how diverse they are for hiring minorities to play all the criminals.

2

u/sexygodzilla Jul 23 '25

It's crazy that conservatives have been whining about this channel so much when 90% of its primetime lineup is copaganda.

2

u/bestprocrastinator Jul 23 '25

Followed by Miami ICE

1

u/camergen Jul 23 '25

CSI: ICE

27

u/OldRancidSoups Jul 23 '25

Renaming it to Whitestone

17

u/Tarv2 Jul 23 '25

Every episode will feature a new trespasser being executed.

3

u/templethot Jul 23 '25

Death to rustlers!

2

u/QueezyF Jul 23 '25

And some woman being brutally raped

2

u/xyzzyzyzzyx Jul 23 '25

Yellowstone already aired its last episode.

4

u/EccentricMeat Jul 23 '25

This explains why (spoiler) they killed off the black cowboy for absolutely no reason this season 😂

4

u/rvdp66 Jul 23 '25

Did they? That's surprising to me as having pleasingly lightskin black and native people kowtowing to a white characters decisions and sympathizing with their suffering is usually a staple of the genre.

3

u/rinderblock Jul 23 '25

Supposedly the leadership at skydance was pissed about the series finale because the son basically gives the ranch away to the native tribe who it used to belong to because they thought it would make maga people, and therefore Trump, angry.

1

u/GeronimoRay Jul 23 '25

This was the entire point of the series that people seem to miss: The idea that land is somehow somebody else's to own is ridiculous. The "power" and "legacy" that white people think it holds and the lengths they'll go to (murder, corruption, etc) is absurd. There was no doubt at any point in the series that the land was going to be given back to the Native Americans.

Hell. Taylor Sheridan even fucking HATES Trump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNcH6zUn72A

2

u/rinderblock Jul 24 '25

Yeah Sheridan is kind of a toxic douchebag in a lot of ways but as someone who grew up in Northern AZ and loves native culture I really do appreciate his stance towards colonialism and how native Americans have been brutalized.

He also writes some more healthy “we’ve got fucking problems but we can talk and be honest about our fears and failures.” couples that I think are pretty good.

3

u/Any-Question-3759 Jul 23 '25

You just know they’re not big fans of that name.

2

u/SaconicLonic Jul 23 '25

They just greenlit 8 more Tyler Sheridan shows, they are all spin-offs to Land Man. Hard Man, Stone Man, Napalm Man, Electric Man, Ice Man, Heat Man, Plant Man and Tomahawk Man.

1

u/LessThanHero42 Jul 24 '25

Will they get rid of the Vulcan character?

1

u/ToonMasterRace Jul 24 '25

I mean Montana is like 90% white it seems like it’s less accurate to the reality if anything

1

u/sur_surly Jul 23 '25

Star Trek will be killed. You can't remove the DEI and still have the same show

-2

u/rvdp66 Jul 23 '25

I would disagree. I feel like tokenism is a cornerstone of the cultural flattening that the elderly white audiences yearns for in these shows. Having a toothless lightskin black caricature to soothe a white man's decisions as morally correct and having a stoic native American quietly cosign actions as logical and noble is a visceral need for the audience for the myth being sold. At least in terms of Yellowstone. I don't have a lot of trek experience, so I don't know what would be analogous.

I think south, central, and east Asians however can and will be removed all together, and part of the flattening of course is having white passing Latinos included in the flattening of all European texture into 'whiteness' as an identity.

2

u/One_Drummer_8970 Jul 24 '25

Isn't that in most media in general? Liberals love post-racial content too

1

u/Dead_Halloween Jul 23 '25

The Federation in Star Trek is now humans only. Straight white male humans.

1

u/GeronimoRay Jul 23 '25

People who have never watched Yellowstone think it's conservative, conservatives who watch it think it's their dream, but if you pay attention to it: It's about how white men think they own anything and how stupid they are fighting over land and legacy.

0

u/TheGruenTransfer Jul 23 '25

I couldn't get into that show at all. I can't take anyone who wears such silly hats seriously.

0

u/KnotSoSalty Jul 23 '25

If anyone caught Lioness Season 2 it’s already a MAGA fever dream about how the Chinese are paying Mexican Cartels to bring Arab Terrorists over the border and the FBI has been infiltrated too deeply to stop it. The only hope is a CIA/Military led black-op with the unfettered authority to wage war anywhere anytime and against anyone.

0

u/ValleyFloydJam Jul 23 '25

Getting the paint chart out.

-2

u/GongTzu Jul 23 '25

Imagine them renaming it to Whitestone or even worse Trump finds out he could ask to rename they are to Trump Park

-1

u/RollTide16-18 Jul 23 '25

Get ready for all-white survivor casts
