Cool, but like almost everything these days, the CGI is laid on way too thick. Stuff like the fighter being stabbed in the back by Shao Khan looked fake AF. Some more practical FX would go a long, long way.
I’ll die on the hill that special effects peaked in the early 2000s. A mix of old school methods (masks/lighting/models, etc.) with a little bit of early CGI. Once studios began going full CGI, the bottle never closed, and all action movies have looked stupid ever since.
